Upon the passing of my grandmother, and reading her will, she had left me as the personal representative of her estate. I accepted the task not knowing what I was doing but I wanted to honor her final wishes as best I possibly could, but found out that this is not an easy task, especially living in another state. Also add in the fact that I, such as many did not have the funds to actually hire an attorney, so I took a chance and did a search on google for probate lawyers.. This was the first firm that was listed so I called, was transferred to a paralegal with whom I explained that I had a question about a required form for probate court. She was very understanding and pleasant to speak with, took notes, gathered all the information and then some and finally set me up with a conference call with Mr Weissenstein. When I spoke with Mr Weissenstein he had the provided notes from the paralegal, and he advised me what the best option would be for me to complete the forms and he provided this information free of charge. I am very thankful for his time and considerations for assisting me with this. I pray I never need a probate lawyer again, but due to his kindness and willingness to help a stranger he would be my first call.
