In my opinion, with regard to long-term care planning, Mr. Douglas Baxley did not demonstrate expertise in elder law, thus doing a disservice to my frail, elderly mother and ultimately, to our family. Elder law is a specialty area that is extremely complex as aging families grapple with dynamic health and other life challenges. In my opinion, our elders are best served by an attorney that specializes in elder law rather than seeking counsel from a general practice lawyer.
