I have never posted an online review before and was hesitant to do so now. But the experience I had here with Mrs Wilson was so disappointing I wanted to let others know. I hired Mrs. Wilson during a very low point in my life and felt she took advantage of me. After working with her for only one month, my husband and I reconciled. In that one month, Mrs Wilson billed me for almost my entire $10,000 retainer. I tried to discuss it with her but she dug her feet in and defended her right to take the nearly $10,000 for one month of work which included 2 in person meetings, and where only preliminary work should have been done. She did work I did not ask for or request, she ran with it, billing me along the way for work I did not want or need, with absolutely no warning or discussion that at the end of the one month my whole retainer would be gone. As I say, my husband and I are back together now and very happy and I want to move forward positively. But what Mrs Wilson did to me seems wrong and unethical. I felt I should let others know what happened to me so you can take care and be clear with your expectations if you decide to work with her.

Paul Pettine is a good man and a good lawyer.

In 2012, Paul Pettine III represented my Wife in her divorce where he secured over $70,000 in legal fees to be paid by the former husband. Then in 2014, Paul sued my Wife, who was a single mother at the time, for $32,549 and levied her child support bank account (which he set-up and fought for said child support in the divorce he represented her in 2012. It is horrible that he used inside information to seize all of her child support and leave her bank account with a ZERO BALANCE). Now in March 2016, Paul pushed for a Bench Warrant to arrest my Wife because she didn't attend court due to organ failure and emergency surgery the a couple days before the hearing even with a doctor & hospital notice, for Paul's collection the remaining amount, with recent increases to, $15,115.79. THIS WAS NEVER HER BILL TO PAY, PER COURT ORDER.

Wilson and Pettine are a world-class legal team. They have represented me in a highly acrimonious divorce involving significant custody and property issues. I have been very pleased with the outcomes, but even more so with the firm's approach: very professional, prompt, thorough, communicative, and detail-oriented. Their communication has been outstanding, keeping me informed of everything and responding very quickly to my inquiries. Throughout, I have felt that they were listening to my priorities and that I was fully in charge of the process. Concerning cost: good legal help is not cheap, but W&P were very clear up front about what the case might cost, have been careful to explain the additional costs that might be incurred by certain moves, have provided carefully itemized statements, and have been judicious about not arguing certain points of the case when the possible gain wasn't worth the cost to me.

I have heard many horror stories from people who went through mediation or had inferior attorneys, and ended up with unsatisfactory outcomes; I am very grateful to be represented by Wilson & Pettine. I have recommended this firm to several other individuals who were, unfortunately, in need of similar legal assistance, and will continue to do so.

It was with great interest that I read a recent google review post on the Wilson & Pettine web site. I have been a client of Wilson & Pettine, and particularly Paul Pettine, since 2006. Post-judgment they helped me negotiate the difficulty of custody/visitation issues, eventually leading to sole custody of my children. I have recommended many friends to Wilson & Pettine and have never heard an ill word about their ability or handling of a client. In my business I interact with many attorneys on a weekly basis and few have shown the professionalism and dedication to their clients that Wilson & Pettine does.

For the first time in over a year and half and several attorneys later, I have an attorney accompanied by a team of support staff that is not only phenomenal at their job but return calls, are accessible, and care genuinely about their clients.
Before Paul represented me, I was at such a loss with the first two "highly recommended" attorneys. I was underrepresented with the first, and then overcharged with the second without moving forward. Paul has demonstrated genuine results and clearly knows what he is doing. My only regret was not finding Paul sooner, but glad I had the bad experiences if for nothing else than to have complete faith in this firm now knowing the differences.
I have actually seen more progress in the last two months than I have in the last year and a half. Paul may not have restored all of my faith in the legal system but now I am beyond confident that he will do all he can within his power to see that I am properly represented and am treated as fairly as possible in a clearly inequitable legal environment.
