Spoke with Mr.Gorski in January about divorce and child custody, he said he would would file the paperwork and my ex would be served. February came and went then March and nothing had been filed! When I would call the office the girls would say , oh just waiting on the court they’re pretty backed up. Then My ex and I came up with our own agreement and I just needed them to write it. They couldn’t even do that! So here I am in July and I had to go retain a different attorney because my ex got tired of waiting so I got served with paperwork! Worst law firm ever!!

I had an excellent experience with my custody case. Like many of the other people mentioned, Gorski told me exactly what to expect. I met two other lawyers before hiring Gorski. The information the other guys gave me seemed all to good to be true. I wasn't comfortable with them because it seemed as if they were simply trying to tell me what I wanted to hear to get my case. Gorski told me that my requests were a little unreasonable and helped me develope a plan to get significantly more time with my daughter. I liked that he did not just tell me what I wanted to here. His staff was always polite and friendly. I felt that everyone took time to explain my case and make sure that my questions were answered. Another person stated that they did not like that when Gorski's office asks you to bring in documents they make you make an appointment and bring all documents in at once. I questioned this at first too because I felt that I should be able to come in any time I want to drop off documents and the first time I did I was missing some. It was Jacqueline or Maritza that explained to me that if I bring in documents without making an appointment first then other appointments would be left waiting. I understand that isn't fair for the other people that made an appointment if I didn't make one. She also explained to me that if they take only some documents clients frequently forget what they brought in and sometimes never bring in the rest. This made sense to me and I appreciate that they have rules in place to make my case work quickly. In conclusion, I was very satisfied with the services I received from Gorski. He ended up increasing my time with my daughter. He was always polite and friendly. His staff was always polite and friendly too.

Mr. Gorski was such an amazing help with my case. I first contacted him over Yelp and he responded almost immediately. His response time is very quick! He was able to help me so much over Yelp (I don't live close enough to just go in for an appointment) and then when I finally felt like he truly cared about my case and my situation, I made the trip to his firm and was able to meet with him. I hired Gorski back in November of 2018. At first he sounded very confident and made me feel comfortable. Then his office was late on filing the paperwork and serving my ex wife. When I would call I would speak to Jacqueline his office manager who is also his girlfriend. She is very rude and tries to talk over you. Its actually the same with Maritza. We moved forward to the hearing in January and when i arrived in California (cause I live in Florida) I still hadn't heard from Gorski as he said he would call me to prepare for the court hearing. When I met him at court the look on his face was kinda surprised, almost as if he didn't remember that I would be there that day. Gorski wanted to prolong the hearing but i was sure we had enough to win so I told him to continue on that day. I did win the case that day and got custody but the judge based her decision off of speaking to my son not anything Gorski did. Fast forward to July. My ex wife files for custody. So since i still believe we had money left with Gorski and he was familiar with the case plus I'm all the way in Florida it was easiest to call Gorski to see if he could help. Gorski called me in the middle of the court hearing and I told him to just get this over with as soon as possible. The actions he took were the opposite. When I called the next day to speak with him about why that happened his assistant Maritza tried to start talking over me while I was trying to explain why I was upset . I told her that I would like to speak to Gorski or I was firing him. I received a call back from them 5 minutes later saying he was quitting my case. Everyone in that office is rude and they don't return calls and take forever to return emails. Also Gorski is unethical and his advice actually hurt my case rather than helping it. Also I have never received any receipts or invoices from them which I have asked for many times to understand what I was paying for, yet they have no problem calling me and asking me for more money. Guess I shouldn't be surprised about this with the past record he has. My fault for not doing my homework on this guy.

These people are great at taking your money, my daughter thought she was going to need to be represented by an attorney, I paid the retention fee of $750 and the next day she found out she wouldn't need an attorney, she asked for a refund and was told that it would only take 7 to 10 days, it's been over 30 days!! and every time my daughter calls they tell her that's they'll call her back when the attorney has the refund ready. We've even gone in to talk to them and they still haven't refunded the money, I would never recommend this place to anybody, to me these people are theives!!

I was in a terrible mess and embarrassed to even need his help! I contacted Vincent Gorski for bankruptcy assistance because someone I work with had used him before. I had already talked to two other lawyers that I didn’t think even listened to my concerns. The other lawyers were more concerned with just getting me to sign up and it was clear that money was his sole motivation. Mr. Gorski met with me for free and took all the time I needed to explain bankruptcy and how it could help me. When I left his office the first time, I felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. My case has been done for a couple of weeks now and I was very happy with Vincent as my lawyer. He is the best. Period!

I had an excellent experience with this firm. Unlike many of the divorce attorneys that I contacted in town, from the first consult, Mr. Gorski told me exactly what to expect and did not give any "pie in the sky" statements of how my case would turn out and that he was the only one that could achieve those results. In fact, Mr. Gorski was straight forward in telling me that my chances of success on certain issues was unlikely. I greatly appreciated his straight forward and honest opinion. While most of the reviews here are positive (and, in my opinion, well deserved based on my experiences), I think the biggest problem most people may have in family law cases are unreasonable expectations. Mr. Gorski and his staff worked hard for me from the beginning to end of my case. I know that some of my expectations at the beginning of my case were unreasonable. I appreciate the open and honest assessment of my case and all issues. I knew exactly what to expect. I was well informed from beginning to end. I remember Mr. Gorski telling me at the first consult that the first few months are always the most difficult. During those months you have to figure out where you are going to live (if you haven't moved out yet), how you are going to afford to live on one income instead of two, a schedule for the children, and making sure that all of the children's needs are met.

He was always prepared for court. If this is your first divorce or custoday case, as it was mine, Mr. Gorski will do a good job of explaining what to expect. He correctly informed me that the court sets 15 to 20 matters at the same time and whatever is not finished by noon is either set for another day or brought back at 1:30 p.m. He correctly informed me that the cases that reached agreements at mediation typically were called first and those needing a contested hearing, in many instances, are not set the same day but require the parties to come back at another time. He took the time to talk with me in the hall before court to make sure that there were no changes from what we stated in our paperwork and to confirm that what I was requesting remained the same. Even though the other side was not represented by an attorney and the fact that I consider myself a good public speaker, it was very comforting to have Mr. Gorski there to speak on my behalf and present the proper arguments to the judge for me. I found Mr. Gorski and his staff to be extremely professional and courteous to me during the entire process.

I am hopeful that I never have to go through a divorce or child custody matter again, if I do, I will certainly retain Mr. Gorski.

Verify dissatisfied, would never recommend this office to anyone. I had a child custody issue. Consultation went well the day I met with Mr. Gorski. Office receptionist/ paralegal were always rude and never helpful. Retain him as my lawyer 2 weeks prior to my court date. Called office many times and girls would always say I would get a call back in regards to my questions, never did. Asked to speak with Mr. Gorski directly they said they would have him return my calls. Never got a call back. I called almost every other day for a week and a half. Called the day prior to my court to confirm. He met me there. The day of court they wanted to ask for a continuance on my case that I was told was going to be easy. I declined as of there was no reason. A response was never filed on my behalf to my case. During court, information that was incorrect in regard to ex spouses income was not corrected, so the incorrect amount for child support is now incorrect. Have to continue it myself through DCS. I have been told that paperwork for after hearing was sent to my ex spouse, which it has been 11 days and he has not received it yet. My after hearing paperwork is suppose to be filed on November 7. We will see if it gets done. As I still continue to call the office and I am always told I will get a call back with answers to my questions and never do. Today I asked the girl for the # to the Bar association. She says she can not give it to me as she does not have it. Although. It was on my payment information sheet. Scheduled payments were to be taken out on the 23 of every month 2 weeks later it has not been taken out. I cant get any answers. Hiring a lawyer is suppose t give you a sense of relief, all it did was stress me out, unable to sleep and eat correctly. Biggest mistake I ever made. I hope maybe they don't take out the money seeing how nothing was even done for my case besides the 30 minutes he spent in court. If I could not grade a star at all I would.

Does not pay attention to Detail or Dates which is what he is paid for in a BK filing, I was left with a huge debt that he did not include which is what we had discussed! He will not return phone calls nor look at me when I see him in public!! Totally incompetent and I would not recommend to any one breathing!! Researching the Bar to file a complaint now!!!!
