Steve provided me emails right before I fired him that include him and opposing counsel, and a minors counsel who are also in the local area showing they were all working together to mess with my case when they know it wasn't right. I recommend hiring an attorney out of the county as many of these attorneys all work together, and coming from a small town area they are about the money and not about the best interest of a child. If I could give zero stars I would.

Will not win anything unless you keep filling his piggy bank. All a show with him and only wants your money. He does not return calls unless you meet with him so he bills you.
Stephen and his firm will not defend you but allow and prolong your divorce to get more of your money. Word of advice do not hire another attorney in his own city or town of practice.

Very unprofessional!! They lost the paperwork that I provided for them to copy including evidence. Wagner used only 5 pieces of evidence I gave him out of a long list I gave provited for him. It was almost impossible to get a hold of him and to get him to do what I was paying him for. The worst part was that I never ever saw a receipt for the thousands of dollars I gave him. He claimed to have done way more but was never willing to show me how he used it on paper. Basically Wagner didn’t believe me. Luckily after I got a new lawyer, I won legal custody and 30-40% more physical custody and many other things I requested in court.

Absolutely horrible experience. Had two cases with Steve and he assured me that this was a cut and dry case. So I hired him spent more money and in return he spent NO time on my cases. Come court date he was so unprepared that he had to ask opposing council for paperwork maybe because he was to busy soliciting work in the court house hallway to remember what he was there for. He went to court for me for child support case and beings my work was slow and amount paid was depending on my work never did he call to see if I was employed or not and never did he call after in fact still waiting on that call. Needless to say if u need an attorney to spend time and fight for you DON'T GO HERE. Filled his pocket book and emptied mine. HORRIBLE.

Ms Comstock gave promises about knowing how to handle my particular case as my ex was self-employed but when it came down to it, she was too busy to really spend time researching. Maybe because I was not important enough financially (I am not rich). She was too late in sending in critical subpeonas (that she has still charged me for) before the court date. Court was a joke as she allowed the opposing council to fabricate stories about myself without letting me have a voice. She was not the savvy attorney that she proclaimed to be in the beginning. I felt decieved and ripped off. She also said that she was working the court date for free but then sends me a bill for it. I believe I would have received the same judgement had I represented myself.
