Update I contacted them to get my money back and she has her secretary talk to me she wont even speak to her clients she has lied to and all he did was laugh at me!! I've never even met him nor does he have any idea of the things her and I have spoke about!!

I had told this lady multiple time my only intention was to terminate perinatal right and she kept falsely insuring me that she was doing it the "correct" way her words I told her multiple times I didn't want a custody case and she blew it off every time say correct correct..but she lied the courts even laughed at her inability to perform her job..she never let's her clients talk she just disrespects them and lies to them..
If you use this womans service I highly recommend contacting a family law facilitator or using the legal library in Bakersfield to confirm what she is telling you before you let her take your money

Our experience has not been pleasant. I wish my management company would have read these reviews. We also experienced the unprofessional and pushy attitude. She only wants to make a deal with the respondents. While telling her that we did not want to settle, she became very loud and embarrassing in the waiting hall. We also were under the impression that an attorney would be accompanying us in the hearing (that didn’t happen). We gave her office 3 evictions in March; two of them are complete yet and one we just agreed to settle to save ourselves some time. It wasn't my idea to write a review initially, but she kept insisting that I write one while we were at court and even tried to write the review for me.

Lorraine and her staff are great. Had a minor issue with document recording because of the reputation at the recorder's office.
I called her at 9am, and was done and recorded by noon....and..LORRAINE answered the phone and took care of what could have been a very complicated issue in about 2 hours.

I called to find out if she could assist me to fill out paper work. She did not even try to find out information and said I'm not interested and clicked on me! She is not professional at all!! I understand if you can't help but to not even give the chance to properly hang up show very little character!!

I was not happy when I left the office. The lady that was the owner was not professional at all. The way she was talking to me about my documents was so bad, that I had to ask her if she had a bad day or if this was the oral that she gives off everyday. The way she was explaining things to me, was in a way that seems to have been an attitude and snatching up my papers and telling me they were all wrong. And the previous place filled everything out wrong. Mind you I had also sent all my documents to my Pre-Legal Lawyer and he did not have any problems with what the other place completed. I asked her for the price of completing one document and she told me no, she had to do it all or she would not do it. She asked me were I worked and I told her then she quoted me a price of $800.00 to complete the rest of paperwork that I could do for free. In other words I will never recommend any one to that establishment. Until she learns how to deal with the public or people in general. She deserves NO STARS at all. It would only allow me to post if I added a star.

I was asked by her to take my review down please that she would fix everything i agreed and spend another hr going over everything after my 7th visit fixing her errors in spelling and my declaration. Just when i finally thought the nighmare was over my wife calls me right now telling me hey the paper work u file is all wrong u got the kids b day mixed up u are asking for full custody with visitation and visitation on the weekends i dont understand what this is im gonna refile!!!! I payed this lady 2000 dollars and her work is trash idk where she got her permit or what school she attended but is sad that even most of the spelling i had to correct it in multiple occasions i am a custumer of hers my name is David Guerrero Bautista in case she says again she doesnt know me!!! Bottom line this is the worst place u can go and file take my advice run away from this place i will not only take her to court to get my money back but will also report her to BBB. And reply to her reply all lies i told her to take her time and do it right and she fail to do so she was more concern about collecting another pay check this woman is a liar and very unprofessional!!

I wasn't even finished asking if they could help me before she intruputed me. I didn't bother even finishing my sentence. I won't work with a company that right from the start won't let a person speak.

She was so very rude wouldn't even hear me out before she said nope im not gonna do it and then hung up in my face

No one as rude as Lorraine Schaum is. She doesn't know what she is doing. She could not do the simplest default case. She did everything wrong in my case. She even forges my name. She also messed up my case. She is the most disgust skunk i have ever seen. Don't let her rip your money. Find someone else who has licence and can do better.

Unprofessional. Disorganized. Flaky. Pushy.

My husband and I went to her to handle a family legal matter. After giving her a $500 deposit and spending multiple hours in her office listening to her scream at her staff (and us) and lie to other customers (and us again, apparently), we walked away with incomplete and completely incorrect paperwork. Any advice she gives is suspect at best. She and her staff lost a key piece of paperwork. When we called about it, I got her shrill, nasty voice telling us that she sent it was definitely there... it wasn't. Every time I went by to retrieve it, the office was closed. That didn't stop her from debiting our account for another $500.

My husband and I got lucky. An attorney is helping is redo all of the paperwork. Otherwise, we'd be out $1,000 and work hours we didn't really have for absolutely nothing.

During the many hours spent in her office, I saw that many of her clients were not so lucky. One woman had used what money she had to take the bus to the office because Loraine said she'd be there, only to be told that Loraine had left the office. Apparently, that is a habit of hers. While I was there, I saw her twice tell people that she was there and that they could come immediately. And then she'd leave the moment she hung up with them.

This lady is not at all a professional. Do not give her any of your money. If you've given her a deposit, hurry not to your bank and do something before she takes the rest. You are better off going to the help center in the courthouse.
