I was very disappointed with my experience with John Kelleher and his firm. John took on my work knowing full well that he was not licensed to perform the duties required of him. When it came time to sign my documents, he informed me he could not, given that he was not licensed in my jurisdiction - a jurisdiction I disclosed (and was evident from my documents) from the outset. I was forced to go through the entire process again with a different lawyer, paying his full fee in addition. He and his staff insisted that this had been expressed to me. Obviously it had not been or I would have never undertook their services. They refused to return payment. I found them to be unethical and dishonest.

This is an excellent family law firm that I highly recommend. John and his team exhibited the necessary dedication to my case to obtain the best result I could hope for in an efficient manner. They were communicative, professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and effective. Look no further.

Straight up, no bull lawyer.

After interviewing 10 plus attorneys John was the only one that stated this is the Nevada law and if all the info I am giving him is correct this is what I would be entitled too. Other attorneys tried to sell me on that I would have everything and then some. I appreciate this law firm being straight up front with our court strategy. Its very emotional and many times I wanted to send OC a nasty letter for making me to be a bad father, but John always took the high road and told me this is how we have to do it. I didn't always agree with it but I hired John to do a job and wasn't going to tell him how to do his job. In the end everything happened as he stated and I spent 1/2 of what my ex spent on attorneys as hers would always find ways to create billable hours.

To all the first timers be prepared to be thrown under the bus by the other attorneys and make you look like a fool. None of this matters and its there to make you want to respond, which John many times explained to me its not worth to reply to these items and I would be wasting money. He was 110% correct! Listen to John and he will steer you in the right direction. You may not like what he has to say or not to say but you have to remember John knows the judges and the OC very well and knows how to react . Let him do the job and you will succeed!

I reached out to Kelleher & Kelleher in early 2017 for a post divorce issue dealing with my ex-wife and matters concerning my daughter. I live out of state and was VERY nervous about finding the "right" lawyer to help me in my matter especially not being able to walk into a office and talk face to face.

After a quick Google search for lawyers who represent fathers, I found Kelleher & Kelleher. Their office was a little farther than I wanted, but they were military friend so I came in for a consultation. My appointment was with John. He was a very active listener and wrote down notes the entire time I was talking. Which was great. Their office does have a conservative approach, but this is ideal in my eyes because they were very thorough and ensured all the boxes were checked for the custody case. He knew what the judge would expect and made sure I met those expectations prior to stepping foot in the courtroom. He has mastered the art of perjury and has even been admonished by the Supreme Court for making huge donations to Judges for favorable outcomes, while assisted by his wife Christine who has a high position with CPS! CONFLICT OF INTEREST!! No wonder CPS chooses not to testify on behalf of his client's opponent!

Totally unethical Attorney John T. Kelleher, Esq. He graduates from BYU and 4 out of 5 staff members are BYU graduates and this FIRM attacks member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Making false accusations and ridiculously making motions without no morals, and no foresight into checking out the validity of his own client.

You could have a reversal where the lawsuit will do a 180 and the tables will be turned on yourself one day: John T. Kelleher, Esq. Pay attention to who you accept as clients=money from, are you that desperate?

He should get a clue that his client, Tanya L. Oetjen's (2) previous Attorneys opted out on representing a liar, and who commits Perjury, besides, Child Abuse, Threats, Stalking and Domestic Battery Class C Felony.
