I hired John to handle my bankruptcy in 2015, it was finalized in 2016. After finalizing my bankruptcy a debtor intercepted my state return so I contacted John who said he’d sent a letter to said debtor to have it resolved. This year this same debtor has intercepted a return once again, so instead of contacting John, I contacted the debtor who has NO RECORD of my bankruptcy or contact from John about resolving the issue. I only give two stars because he was very kind and handled the bankruptcy quickly but I referred three different people to him and two of which he took money from them and never got back in touch with which made me look bad for referring him in the first place. I can’t speak for his practice now, but I should not still be having issues with debtors from 2015 now in 2019 especially after I spoke directly with John about resolving the issue when it first happened.

Attorney John Cloar was very friendly and helpful when I filed for bankruptcy, he helped dispel any misinformation and old wives tales that you hear about filing.
