First read all the one star reviews for this firm and then make your decision. I would not use this firm for any type of legal service. Most importantly if it were me and I were using this firm I would avoid Stephanie Theban.

I seen the low reviews it means they did not get the answers they was looking for. I had a hot water tank leek that was new they are handling it. I had someone right me fraud lease they are Handel it they know what they are doing. If Garth breaks trust them and uses them that says something. I just notice this and wanted to leave my review. They take care of my business and my family needs .

I agree with the other low star rating reviews on Google Local. Upon scheduling an appointment it became clear to me this firm was only interested in money and not serving its clients. As a small business owner myself I understand businesses exist to earn a profit, however, it is my opinion that a business should have its clients interests at heart, this will lead to repeat business and referrals. Unfortunately, I believe Riggs Abney is missing a great opportunity to help people and make a profit. However, they're a relatively big firm so I guess it hasn't backfired yet. Back to my experience, during my initial consultation I felt rushed in part because the attorney said on the phone she wasn't paid for an initial consultation and needed to make it brief. She reminded me of this during our initial consultation which lasted 30 minutes or less in which she was late. Upon leaving the consultation I felt fairly good about her competence, but after interviewing two other lawyers, I believe she is not competent in her study. I reached out to her to ask for clarity on a couple items she mentioned. I let her know that I was trying to decide between her and another firm. She never bothered to reply. My assumption is she doesn't know what she's doing, and she doesn't want to take the time to learn because that might mean she earns less per hour. Again, this firm I don't believe has its clients interests at heart from my experience.

Poor customer service is a given. The attorney I spoke to wasn't helpful at all yet wants her $300/hr. Shouldn't you be an expert in your field at that rate? Get some stats on probate in the future so people can make proper decisions!

Not very helpful, terrible at returning phone calls, poor customer service. Too busy to help and too expensive.

horrible-avoid at all cost--much better lawyers and firms out there--they took the money and kept on billing -no call back-no service just kept billing--this is a very sorry example of how to treat a client-I will not use his firm again and recommend you stay away

Jerry Witt has served as mediator on at least three of my divorce cases. In each case, both me and my client were very impressed by the quality of his services: very professional, very knowledgeable of Oklahoma Family Law, and although he and I did not always see eye to eye about how to settle particular legal issues, he provided a lot of valuable insight based on his many years of family law experience.
