My NIGHTMARE with Social Security Administration is OVER. Thank God. The SSA told me in February 2016 that I had been overpaid $57,300.00 and to PAY IT BACK. Imagine my horror. The SSA stopped sending the money in question to my account and insisted I pay back the $57,300.00. The NOT KNOWING my fate from February 2016 to October 2016 was extremely distressing. It was due to a clerical error by a clerk when I applied for SSA benefit. My efficient and diligent Lawyer, Elizabeth BT Rose, went to the SSA website Program Operation Manual and found a document (GN04003.100) that stated "if more than 4 years after the date of the notice of the social determination, we discover the error, we cannot correct the error since the end result of revising the record would be unfavorable to the claimant (GN04010.020)". It had been 8+ years. I have been REINSTATED! THANK my compassionate and caring Lawyer, Elizabeth BT Rose of the Tolley and Brooks Law Firm, P.A., Fayeteville, AR.
