I could have gotten the same results if not better with a public attorney. She didn't care about the damage to my driving record it was going to cause to settle for an agreement that she made with the judge without giving me any kind of heads up about what she was going to do. I hadn't even arrived to the court yet before she decided to have a negotiation with the judge without my knowledge. It was obvious that all she wanted to do was to get this over with as soon as possible and it didn't matter what I even wanted to begin with. I wanted my case to move forward with the trial because I know I could have avoided all charges, penalties and fees had this law firm just done what they were hired to do in the first place! The police department did not release the video footage that I requested with way more than enough time for it to have been released before the trial date. I requested dashcam and any footag from the officer that pulled me over and gave me the citation as proof that one of the charges was a false accusation. I would have that in my favor for one. The cop that gave me the ticket had not even shown up which just gave me even more leverage. I had many things going in my favor. I not once requested my attorney to make any kind of settlement and I most certainly know that I was never even asked by these attorney's if I wanted to try to go for one in the first place. If you are looking for an attorney that will maintain honest, and thorough communication with you especially on your trial day and one that will take your opinions seriously and actually put your word first instead of doing something completely different before even telling you what they want to do, I advise you to keep looking elsewhere.
