Great firm, very helpful

Could not understand what he was trying to say. Very confusing.

I had to hire an attorney after my father died to file an application to make me the Administrator of my parents Estate since I am their only child. We made an appointment to see Kevin O'Brien and we got in just a few days later. He is very good at explaining things and the following week he went to court for us with our application and on that same afternoon I was back in his office picking up the court order! And his staff are some of the most friendly and helpful people I've ever met!

I first became acquainted with O'Brien Law Firm through my wife who had been a client of theirs previously. In the process of selling property following my wife's death I was also very impressed with the level of expertise at the firm and their willingness to go "above and beyond" to be helpful. Of particular note was Rita Montgomery, legal assistant, who was my contact person throughout the sale process. She was exceptionally attentive to my needs as I struggled with handling the death of a spouse. I recommend Rita, Kimberly, and the entire firm very highly for any legal needs.

I worked with Rita on a home closing. She was extremely fast and friendly. She had everything ready when I walked in and was in and out in no time at all. HIGHLY recommend!!!

I had a bad experience with this attorney. He had poor paralegal representation. His paralegal did not respond on numerous occasions to communicate with me at all. I felt that my case was not a priority; and I did not feel as though they had my best interest at heart. This was very stressful under the circumstances, because I was under a lot of pressure. When I requested my case files (in which I spent my time and over $40 in making copies of these documents) she claimed she shredded most of the paperwork, but promised to email me a PDF...which I never received. I would not recommend this attorney.

I went in to have a will done. The wait wasn't very long and the staff was very nice. They were very informative and answered all my questions honestly. I would recommend them to anybody who need anything done with a will.

I went to this law firm for a free consultation in Oct. 2015 for bankruptcy. I gave a $200.00 deposit toward the total of $600.00. I was given some paperwork for me to contact and pay for copies of my the credit reports to get the bankruptcy started. THE PAPERWORK DID NOT MENTION NO REFUNDS. I lost my job. After 4 months on unemployment I requested a refund. I was told that THIS LAW FIRM DOES NOT GIVE REFUNDS. I asked why they said that when you give creditors their number they respond that he is your lawyer. I explained I never did that because I wasn't working. I asked to speak with KEVIN O'BRIEN. I was told he'll call back. I called 6 times and he never returned my call. The last time I got switch to office manager. I told her the same thing that I told the previous woman that answered the phone, I did not give their number to creditors because I WASN'T WORKING. I was told when I left the office they started on my case. ORIGINALLY I WAS TOLD AS SOON AS I GOT THE PAPERWORK COMPLETED AND BACK TO THEM WITH THE BALANCE OF THE $400.00 THEY WOULD BEGIN MY CASE.
I WAS THEN TOLD THAT THE MONEY COVERED THE CONSULTATION FOR KEVIN O'BRIEN TIME. HE ADVERTISES FREE CONSULTATION. I GUESS THAT IS UNLESS YOU REQUEST A REFUND.
