I found Mr.Dunlap on the internet by google. After being turned down by several law offices not wanting to take my case because they didn’t feel it would be worth it! I felt so defeated! Mr. Dunlap took on my case for long term disability with Liberty Mutual. Liberty Mutual had not paid me in 5 months and I had to appeal. They tell you that the appeal takes 45 to receive an answer. I received my letter in the mail from Liberty Mutual in less than 20 days! I had No communication issues with Mr.Dunlap, there was someone always answering the phones or calling me! In my 31 years as a career woman, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with many attorneys but in October 2019, I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Attorney John Dunlap. I was going through one of the most distressing times in my life. I had just has a multilevel disc fusion on my back and my Long Term Disability insurance made the decision to stop paying me 2 weeks before my surgery in August 2019. I was left with zero income, bill collectors calling day and night and still trying to recover from a very difficult and painful surgery. I called Attorney Dunlap to see if he would file my appeal for me. He patiently listened to my situation and set up an appointment. When I got to his office, I didn't have to wait to see him. He graciously met me at the door. Attorney Dunlap was extremely caring, compassionate, and empathetic. He was very humble and treated me with such respect. At no point was he consumed with outrageous fees or charges. His only concern was making sure that he could assist in making me a whole person again. At one point, I looked at his face and could feel the genuineness and love that he has for helping people. Attorney John Dunlap is the best disability ATTORNEY in MEMPHIS he helped my brother who has been disabled since a child continue to receive his benefits. They were trying to cut him off for years saying he wasn’t disable when in fact he still is I reached out to Attorney Dunlap he started working on the case right away. His paralegal Pete was sooooooo helpful he worked to help us get everything we needed for court he kept us updated I mean they were soooooo good. If I could leave no stars, I certainly would!

For starters, that office is so unprofessional, and very unorganized. The day my court date came, Mr Dunlap did NOT show up for court. He never once called and advised he would not be there, and he instead had a rinky attorney come up to me and state he would represent me. My case contained so many errors, that the trustee had to continue my case TWICE! After repeated calls, I was finally able to contact Dunlap and express how upset I was about him not showing for court. He had several excuses, and even tried to lie as if he had a family emergency.

Lin and Pete, both continued to ignore my concerns about creditors continuing to call me. Soon after, my boyfriend got a garnishment. This was never suppose to happen. We are currently in the process of trying to fix this matter ourselves, when we paid an attorney to do this. Mr Dunlap volunteered to give me some of my money back on March 23, 2019, and there is a video recording to prove this. When I references the video, he sent a text and told me not to contact his office again! After he has gotten my money!

I am filing a complaint the BBB, as well as reporting his unethical practices to the bar!

The social security administration reviewed my case and approved me for my disability six months later. I received my back pay and a monthly increase on my social security check.
