As a real estate agent, there's nothing more important to me than working with a title company & closing attorney whose priority is to provide me and my clients with an over-the-top customer experience. I've worked with quite a few title companies and I've never had an experience even close to the one I have with Home Surety Title. My clients are always praising them for their hands-on approach and constant communication! When HST is representing my clients, I know that no detail is going to slip through the cracks and that no deal will ever have a delayed closing because of anyone on their side of the deal. With the size of their staff and their turn-key systems & processes, even if some of their staff is out of town, the next person in line is able to pick up the file where the previous person left off and usher it the rest of the way to the closing table. They also use incredible tools like the Deal Tracker that keeps me and my clients in the loop as to where their file is in the closing process. Additionally, they're at the forefront of developing technology like e-closings. Perhaps their biggest value is their security protocols. With things like Wire Fraud growing in prevalence, I sleep like a baby at night knowing that Home Surety is the most proactive title company in the market when it comes to protecting my clients' information, data and money. I constantly hear horror stories in the real estate community about clients who have lost thousands of dollars as victims of Wire Fraud scams because their title company didn't use the proper security protocols. In my mind, that's probably the worst thing that could happen to any client or agent during a transaction. From the time you walk into their office, you can see that security is their biggest priority, as every file is kept behind doors that remain locked at all times and are only accessible to HST Staff & Employees. Not only does HST take the necessary precautions to avoid that situation entirely, they also have insurance coverage in the event that wire fraud does happen, and as of the date at which this is written, they have more coverage than anyone in the area to the best of my knowledge. In addition to making my clients' lives easier, they also make my life easier by ordering all of my home warranties for me, couriering my commission checks to my office, and making sure that I always have what I need to do my job at the highest level. Jeff McEvoy, HST's owner & closing attorney even agreed to close a deal for me at 6:30am at my client's office Downtown, as it was the only time my client was available. I can't foresee myself ever deciding to use another title company for my real estate business, and I'm honored to call HST a member of my real estate team!

If you're an agent reading this review, I ask you to think about the security at your current attorney's office/title company. What are they doing to protect clients from wire fraud? What kind of insurance coverage do they have if it were to happen? Are your clients' files & information kept in the open behind someone's desk or behind locked doors where no one can access them without a key? Are they using encrypted emails & secure platforms for transmitting wiring instructions and other confidential information with you and your clients? Are they putting you in jeopardy of being in violation of RESPA Guidelines by offering you financial incentives or paying for services for you in exchange for your business? Don't forget that you're responsible for what happens to your clients when in the care of anyone that you've referred them. If you're a consumer looking for a title company/attorney for your real estate business, I'd encourage you to ask your real estate professional & your current attorney/title company these questions. If they don't have an answer or you aren't happy with the answers, I encourage you to give HST a chance - I can assure you, you won't be disappointed.
