I would recommend the Rocky Law Firm to anyone I know. I had a severe accident at work where I shattered my leg and broke 2 vertebrae. My wife placed a call to the firm while I was still in the ER. Rocky had a member of his team at my side within 4 hours. The Rocky Law team took my case and made the entire process painless (pun intended!) I spent 13 months rehabilitating and during that time I had every question answered and need taken care of. They made sure I was provided with every wheelchair, medical device, prescription, physical therapy, and doctors’ appointment that I NEEDED. I was in rear-ended by someone on their phone while I was on vacation in Tennessee. The whole thing was just awful. I was out of my state and totally out of my element dealing with hospitals and doctors and the bills, my God- the bills! I was pretty apprehensive about handing over control to a someone to handle my case especially when I they’re hundreds of miles away, so I waited a while (probably longer than I should) to start calling attorneys. At first, I thought I might be able to handle it myself and settle out on my own with the adjuster but she wasn’t throwing out any reasonable numbers. Their initial offers didn’t even cover all of my bills from the accident. To make it worse, I wasn’t even done seeing the doctor then! It made me so mad! They were talking to me like the accident was my fault! I was nervous to let someone else take the reigns but I knew I couldn’t do it on my own. Finally, I called Rocky. His team was great from day one. I ended up dealing primarily with Justin and Patrick. I was worried that I’d have to check in with them a bunch but they kept me updated but that was not the case. I got to know my lawyers and paralegals. Gina and Daniel were wonderful. They prepared my case for the attorneys with more care then I would have for myself. I can't express in words the treatment I received from Attorney Hunter Higdon. The day I called for help he spoke to me himself and anyone that has hired a attorney knows this is rare. Not only did he speak to me day 1 but he invited me in the office and I saw him 2hrs after we spoke. He kept in contact with me the whole way. Now if you think that was amazing, read this... What can i say about Rocky McEhaney law firm ? I had look and look for a lawyer to take my mesh case. Several lawyers to be exact. I alway got letters back saying the would not take my case. I was traveling in an SUV with six other ladies in Smyrna, Tennessee. We were going about 30mph when we were hit head on by a drunk driver going 60mph. That man lost his life in the wreck. All I remember was remember was rolling through the air and then waking up and hearing the emergency personnel say “They’re all DOA.” That’s when I remember coming to for a second and screaming “I’m not dead! We’re not dead!” Miraculously, all my sisters survived but we all paid a very big price physically.

The woman that was sitting behind me in the vehicle had broken her leg and hip in wreck and her leg pushed the metal on the head rest into the back of my head near my brain stem. That caused a host of long-term brain injury symptoms. I had 12 hours of visual blindness. I suffered from chronic emotionally triggered-vertigo which looked and acted like narcolepsy when I got excited, sad or angry. I had uncontrollable nausea, vomiting and chronic dizziness.

Worst of all, I lost 15 years of my memory with amnesia of which is something I’m still coping with. I have 22 foster kids and 6 adopted kids and I can’t remember their names. I can’t remember how to do many basic things that used to come second nature. For a long time I thought that I actually carried my adopted daughter and gave birth to her until she told me that it wasn’t true. That whole chunk of my life was just gone. I lost my ability to sew, crochet and cook. Not just the ability, but the passion to do those things as well. Though I am very thankful that my injuries weren’t worse, it has been emotionally trying. Before the wreck everyone thought of me as a great chef and home cook and looked forward to my cooking. Now I stare at the stove for a half hour trying to figure out how to fry an egg.

I am a Jehovah's Witness and so are the other ladies that were in the car with me. The Jehovah’s Witness community is like family. In a injury claim involving six people and many different insurance companies things can get complicated and tension can build quickly and put a strain on relationships.
