Rachel Hodges was my attorney and she did an amazing job. Her whole team was top notch and made this experience, the smoothest it could be. Exceptionally happy with the outcome of the case and would recommend the firm to anyone in need of representation during their divorce.

I am a bit dismayed that my husband has not been able to get a consultation set up with this firm. You called him once, but never called back. He is a 3 toured combat veteran that has sole and exclusive custody of his son and the mother is dodging child support. We heard this firm helped veterans, but apparently not the case. He could not even get an appointment to discuss his case.
I was not personally a client, however my husband is/was. His experience has been horrible. They initially charged him 100.00 consultation fee, then proceeded to tell him he has to put 1000.00 into this "trust account" saying it is for when there is a balance due and not paid in 30 days then they will take from that account. He has been dealing with these people for almost 5 mos, (a simple case might I add) and has already paid out over 3000.00. They failed to tell him in the initial consultation that they charge him for every phone call, text message, email, mail, etc going either way, (from them to him or him to them)...this is a case where the ex wife is asking for child support on their almost 17 year old son when there was never a child support ordered back in 2003 and wanting back child support as well. Since they have taken and taken and taken all that they can it has put our family in a financial bind and he couldn't pay any more so they dropped his case and charged him 56.00 to do that, then took another almost 100.00 out of his account and today took another almost 80.00 out for what they say is payment for reviewing his w2s they request. This law firm is absolutely absurd and should have law suits filed against them for falsely advertising to help fathers with their rights but just ultimately leave them end up struggling to provide for themselves and their family. If anyone reads this review first STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAW FIRM UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE EVEYTHING YOU OWN we could have just given the said child the money wasted on them and it would've saved us so much loss and headaches.

Wish I would have read the comments about this firm before wasting my time and money with them. After 2.5 years of trying to get mediation scheduled with various law firms Cordell & Cordell, specifically Melissa Hamilton & Kathryn McDonald, have FINALLY gotten the correct petitions filed and followed through with it to get mediation scheduled. No party involved, including the mediator, was notified Melissa Hamilton called in sick the day of the scheduled (court ordered) mediation. In my initial interview (intake interview?) Jarvis Johnson told me there would be a legal "team" so mishaps, like exactly what happened yesterday, would never happen... That was an outright, boldfaced lie. What legal representation they have given me has been sub par; expect incredibly vague "clarifications" and contracts, expect ZERO recollection of the details of your case (they like to have meetings to "catch up" on details, like why you are there in the first place... Invoice emails will come 2x a week: Case Summary emails?? Not so much, I have had 1 in the 6 months or so they have represented me. STAY FAR AWAY FROM CORDELL & CORDELL, They are only experts in sales tactics.
EDIT: The only resolution possible in my mind is a full refund of my money squandered by your sub par legal team.

I sent 3 emails which returned 0 replies when finally got ahold of some one they wanted to charge me $100 for a consultation which would be ok if I had not talked to 15 other lawyers this month looking for the best one to fix my situation. 15 out of 16 was free consultation and you guessed it cordell and cordell wants to charge. I find this predatory marketing as I was hopeful in there add for fathers rights but find myself feeling like prey to a good marketing campaign. The truth is I was hopeful and banking on them being the best because they seem to care but want to charge $100 for a consultation were like I stated before recieved 15 free before having my heart crushed by this marketing law group. I would recommend looking at other lawyers that will listen and help with out charging a broke father that just wants time with his child and not falling for the marketing.
