Brian Clark is the sorriest lawyer on the Alabama bar. I had to remind him my case at every visit, came late to court twice and tried to rush me into a guilty plea even though the courts had absolutely no evidence but the arresting officer's account. The icing on the cake was him hanging up on me when confronted with his unprofessionalism. What this excuse for a lawyer dragged on for 2 and a half years was resolved in 2 WEEKS!. Avoid this clown like a plague, he's very useless.

Brian represented my Mom a few years back. He was actually appointed my moms case by the state, even so I had heard his name before from a couple people who only had good things to say about his services. I will add that my Mom was already serving a sentence in the MDCJA for crimes she pled guilty to months prior. (Brian was NOT her council during those preceding sadly) She was charged for things that happened while incarcerated, although she was only serving a year or less, she now faced multiple years in prison.(previous conviction was split 1yr in and 3out w/possible 8total in prison) Brian acted as if he had known her for years and as if he had been her attorney from day 1. Long story short she still only served the remaing time of the initial 1yr(minus some amenities and comforts), and was released without 1 extra day added to her sentence. Brian is an awesome attorney and an amazing person. My mom would still be in Tutwiler today if it weren’t for Brian Clark. I’d recommend him and his professional office staff, including atleast one other Liscensed attorney,(other than himself) to anyone.

I went to L. Alexander office with my son praying that the attorney would be able to be able to do something to help him, and instead of just thinking he'd be able to help some Mr. Alexander was wonderful and pleasant, knowledgeable he has even ask to be appointed over a 2nd case son has going on, I am truly shocked and extremely happy with him because as most everyone knows that any court appointed attorney could care less about the person is,could care even less about helping the person defend against charges, because they are going to be paid by the state but this attorney is giving the same attention, same defense as you'd paid thousands to him and around here this is very rare. And when these 2 cases are over and my son doesn't have to need a attorney I ever do need a attorney I will be using Mr. L. Alexander. My ONLY COMPLAINT IS HIS PERSONAL secretary, we've called I don't know how many times, she doesn't know what she is doing, can't make her understand anything period, keeps saying "What" otherwise this is only complaint.

I was appointed Brian Clark as my attorney because I wasn't able to afford a retained one. That made me worry if i was going to get proper representation because i wasn't able to pay, but Brian definitely put in hard work for me. I appreciate Brian helping me with my case, he told me up front that i was facing serious charges and kept me informed throughout the entire case and how things were going. Appointed or Retained, HE WILL WORK HARD FOR YOU TOO!!

A couple years ago i was charged with murder, Mr. Clark was my court appointed attorney because not i couldnt afford to retain one. He kept me informed of everything that was going on. Although he never made any promises he fought really hard for me. A few weeks ago, my co-defendant pled guilty to the crime so he told me we should take it to trial and "put 12 in a box". We went to court and after several days the jury gave a " NOT GUILTY" verdict!!!! I couldnt be more happy with this, its like he gave me my life back!

I wouldn't not recommend or use again. Charged me way to much for the service I got. The day of court he didn't even show up but sent his assistant. He sounds good when you talk to him but that is it. He doesn't not care about your case. I would recommend you use anybody else.

Brian D. Clark is the best criminal defense attorney in the area. He knows system like the back of his hand and also knows a lot of the prosecutors on a first name basis. No matter what you were charged with, he will fight for you all the way. The previous review seems bogus to me, as Mr. Clark gave me his personal cell phone number when we hired him. If you can't reach him, it's because he is in court fighting for his other clients. He always c calls me back when he gets a chance.f8fighting

I was in desperate need of a power of attorney for my dying father. Mr. Clark was difficult to get in touch with and when I did he never kept his appointment. He never called or even bothered to reschedule. When I finally got through to an actual person, rather than just voicemail, I was told that he was on vacation. I told his secretary that I was not happy with his lack of professionalism, communication level, and that his services would no longer needed. He called me up, while supposedly on vacation, and told me, "Go screw yourself!" and then hung up on me. I am actually glad that I did not have to deal with him further.
