He is a great lawyer, always stayed in touch, handled everything for me. I gave him a five star rating. But if I could have I would have given him a 10 star.
Thank you
Donny Coleman
He's also not shy about letting you know he's very busy as he told myself as well as my wife when presented with medical history starting in 1999 when i was first injured that he didn't have time to review such a list of records.
He spent 5 minutes before the hearing with me, and was surprised that i needed a cane for assistance with walking as he asked when did I start using a cane. Of course he wouldn't know as he knew relatively little about my case it seemed.
His unprofessionalism wasnt more evident than when the Judge asked if there were any workers comp claims. To which mr Jackson replied no your honor. The judge was surprised and stated he was certain hed read about 2 issues. I finally had to speak up and inform the Judge that yes. One in Nov 1999 and again in July 2015. To which Mr. Jackson attempted to throw his incompetent actions on me by stating it was the first he'd heard about either. I then was forced to ask mr Jackson to recall several email conversations relative to the very issue and at my concerns. And also the very files were sent to him. The ones he had no time for.
I then proceeded to thoroughly explain both workers comp cases and again mr Jackson attempted to save face by promising to deliver any other Information needed relative to the same but was cut short by the Judge who added I need nothing futher from counsel, this man stands on his own character, he has to my utter satisfaction recalled with great detail from memory each case and I have no doubt to his honesty. The judge then added it was hard to understand how my case as clear cut as it was had went as far and took as long as it had. It remained a mystery to us no longer. At that point the judge stopped the proceedings and stated a fully favorable decision he would render on mybehalf. And did so.
Mr Jackson waisted no time letting me know that he would be submitting for reimbursement of the full amount allowed by law. $6000 , I suppose Mr Jackson gets around $3K an hour for his performance. He did request a total of 7 medical records for which I've been billed a total of around $70 . Mr Jackson was paid in full around 2 months ago. I as of yet haven't received a dime. He informed me after I inquired as to why I haven't been paid that it was now out of his hands, Seems Mr Jackson had attempted to get me approved for SSI at the beginning even though I clearly had way to much in resources and was shot down off the bat which caused a code to be attached to my case which now must be removed by SSI. I asked for him to attempt at least a phone call on my behalf, Lord only knows the crying and nashing of teeth mr Jackson would have done if I'd asked for a letter. The phone call was out of the question. But please dont detain from the matter of $70 reimbursements for the records as I had agreed to pay for the same. And it was not part of the $6K.
I regret not contesting his outlandish fee schedule, I regret immensely hiring his firm. My advice is do the initial leg work yourself . Take it to the point of a hearing then if needed hire a good firm.
From the moment I sat down with him I Started to relax as he explained the process of obtaining disability. I showed up with all the medical records I could get and what I didn't have he sought out for us. He kept me very well informed throughout entire process and I was very happy with my results. I have already recommended him and will continue to. A REAL professional.
Thank you Forrest,

the great advice and referral to someone who could help me with my case. I would definitely seek out services from this firm again, and recommend them to others. Thanks Mr Jackson!
