I hired Ms. Thornton on SEVERAL different occasions. She represented me through getting an approval to move out of state, modifying my custody order 2 different times, name changes, and for setting up guardianship for my children. Seemed to be knowledgeable and got a good vibe. I retained her in the summer. We did not go to court until late April. Process took way too long and she changed her approach the morning of court. I don’t think I was well represented. I ended up with a 50/50 agreement with a grown child that can’t take care of herself, let alone my son.

Amanda is a great divorce/custody lawyer. I loved that she called me right away, listened to my situation and didn’t seem intimidated at all. I had a horrible experience with Amanda Thornton. Definitely not a trust worthy laywer. If you are looking for a lawyer you can trust and depend on I would suggest going elsewhere. I hope she's not like that with all of her clients especially when they are already going through a tough enough situation.

Overall took longer than expected but was very thorough. She covered things I never thought of and protected our interests to the fullest extent. Would recommend her to anyone.
