We hired Rebecca McCoy gave her $2,500 upfront and couldn't get a call back for a month over child abuse and neglect.... She'll sell you a good story up front but never call you back when you need her... waited a month to get a call back over child abuse and neglect sorriest lawyer in Sevier County... Highly do not recommend. Rebecca will seem compassionate, caring, and sympathetic upfront and in person. She will make you feel hopeful only to forget about you when you walk out the door. I see it is a common trend in these reviews that she does not return calls, does not inform her clients, and is an overall joke. If you trust this firm, be prepared to make many trips to the office for answers and questions. I paid upfront almost 2 years ago for my services here and they are still not resolved. I quickly saw how things were unfolding and have been warning others to stay away from here. After 2 years of Rebecca “working”, what I paid for in advance will finally come to an end. That’s 2 years of having my calls ignored, my calls not returned, and receiving last minute information. Rebecca is not compassionate, nor does she care. It seems she is in this business for the money. Definitely not for the people she represents. I highly recommend another lawyer.
