Elena Sanchez Curtis Is The Best Divorce & Custody Attorney I Have Worked With After Dealing With A Couple Of Previous Attorneys Before Being Introduced To Her on The Same Major Custody Case That I Was Dealing With That She Won. I Highly Recomend Her! Thank You
Elena Sanchez Curtis is phenomenal and is truly living out her calling by representing her clients the way in which she does. She represented me in my divorce and custody case; she is loyal, honest, fair to both sides, and got me through to the other side of this with her unique approach to all the hoops and curves involved in my case. Could not have gotten through those 18 months without her, and blessed to have had her represent myself and my son.

I have used them for multiple things. What a great experience they have shown me! They have really helped me through a lot of bs that I had no clue what I was doing and couldn't understand. Then I also used Richard for my bankruptcy case and he did an absolutely fantastic job! He got it handled so quickly! Thank you guys for all your hard work!!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help!!

2017 - Mr. Glen Johnson took a year to file my upward modification for a child with special needs. Then, after the judge order us to attend mediation, Mr. Johnson didn't show up . . . but he sent his clerk, Richard, to fill in. Richard conducted hours of litigation on my behalf. Additionally, the mediator, Linda Gettle, was fully aware that Richard was not an attorney.
In the end, our mediation agreement sat on Mr. Johnson desk for months. Eventually, I fired him. He has caused such emotional and financial distress for our family.
And, Linda Gettle was extremely unprofessional, unethical, deceitful and down right raunchy during our mediation. Her approach to mediation is borderline harassment. It's unbelievable to think that she actually gets paid to bully people!
So, stay clear of these folks!

An absolute joke......truly. I'm happy for the people that had a good experience with these guys, but they were unbelievably incompetent in handling my case. Read the letter I recently wrote them.....when one has to write the judge for leniency concerning the failure of their legal representation it's a sad day. If you need an estate settled, avoid these guys like the plague. The only case I can see for hiring them is if one likes being ignored and horrible outcomes. I really hope they respond to this claiming they did their due diligence. I've done more work in a hammock after drinking a case of beer than these guys did for me. That's a fact!
I am writing concerning the estate you handled for me up until November of 2017. The case was the estate of my mother Carolyn Keefe. I was left with no choice other than dropping your Law firm after dealing with Richard Pettys for 9 months. In that time period the only thing your firm accomplished was filing paperwork late and an initial consult. After working with another legal team since last November, I am finally in the final process of being named executor by the Cherokee probate court. Besides many additional legal fees over the last eight months, I also barely saved my mother’s condo from the jaws of potentially illegal foreclosure. Appointed County Administrator William E. Whitaker thankfully helped me dodge that bullet. Because Mr. Pettys failed to file paperwork on time, I also almost lost the condo to a family member not named in the will. Thankfully she had no funds to front the required bond. I have incurred total costs over $15,000 to keep my botched case alive.
Mr. Pettys had led me to believe for months that my case was in good hands when it was not. Included is a photo of an email Mr. Pettys sent me right before I dropped your firm. In his email Mr. Pettys told me plainly that a photocopy of the original will I had could not be accepted in probate. Along with many other missteps, this was incorrect. I have also included the letter I wrote to Judge Wood explaining why I missed a deadline and had lost faith in my legal representation. There is also a copy of my letter asking for release from your firm and particularly Glen Johnson as my attorney. Lastly is a copy of my initial receipt of payment to your firm for $1,970.
After consulting with a local malpractice attorney in your area at the behest of other counsel, I have been informed that although I have a good case, the monetary value of any possible settlement would be nullified by their fees. This isn’t to say I’m not considering it. It has also been brought to my attention that a grievance with the Georgia State Bar could be a possible last ditch maneuver. I am again asking for a partial or total refund of my initial fees. There was no service of value rendered and just as at any decent University, late work doesn’t count in a court of law. Thank you for your consideration and I hope this will be solved civilly.

I think that people should understand the class of person that they hire as an attorney... Any person willing to earn at the expense of horses, under the guise of providing Justice, should have to live with that decision... This is not a review of legal service it is a review of your soul and there will come a day where you have to stand in front of God.

Elena Sánchez-Curtis is a tremendous problem solver. Her persistence and people skills resolved my issues. This is the second time I have used her as my attorney and both cases turned out better than I had expected. I would highly recommend!

Our horse died due to defective equipment. We sought legal recourse at Edwards & Curtis, LLC, due to their expertise and extensive experience with equine law. Edwards & Curtis pursued legal action on our behalf and successfully negotiated the best outcome for us, dealing across state lines to do so.

We had a very bad situation with our Home Owners Association concerning my dog and some of the neighbors. They were pushing to have my dog removed even though he was not the instigator of the problem. Elena Sanchez-Curtis stepped in as my attorney and negotiated with the HOA attorney. She clearly was more familiar with the Fair Housing Laws than the other attorney and quickly helped lay out a plan that would keep my dog at home and still pacify the neighbors. During our conversations, her approach and comments back to me sent a clear message that she was a very honest person and wanted to come up with a solution that would work for both sides but still meet my top goals. She kept my best interest in mind throughout the multiple negotiations that happened between the HOA and my family. i would gladly retain Elena as my attorney for any other situations that might come up in the future, especially if it included anything to do with Fair Housing Laws.

I have never hired an attorney in the past. I retained Mr. Edwards' services on a recommendation of a friend in what became a 'messy' divorce with a lot of different issues at stake.
Mr. Edwards and his team listened thoughtfully as to what I wanted from the divorce. What I wanted was a fair and equitable settlement and my spouse and I as equal partners as parents. The team never lost sight of that goal.
It took a long time and was an expensive journey, however having Mr. Edwards as a partner with me in this was instrumental in us arriving at the settlement we achieved.
I consider Mr. Edwards and his team as friends now. Not only did they help me achieve the most optimal legal outcome for me, but they were not only legal counsel but understood the emotional component of dividing a family. They were advocates for their client while recognizing that everyone in this are human beings and not just a payday.
With the addition of Ms. Sanchez-Curtis to the team this Firm has really upped their game. I only interacted with her briefly but agree with the reviews of her on here.

This is the most outstanding group of folks I have ever met. Mr. Edwards handled my custody case and I received fantastic results. There could not have been a better outcome. This man and his staff will fight tirelessly for you. I witnessed first hand the professionalism and determination Mr. Edwards displayed. He and his entire staff are like family to us now. My daughter and I stop in to visit the office and they all know us and greet us as family would. My daughter and I are eternally thankful for this most amazing law firm. Thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, Edwards and Johson, for all your hard work and endless determination. Joe Herdman.

This is not an error in post, and I called this specific company number and received her multiple times answering the phone. I spoke with your manager and they told me they would look into this complain further. Whenever I do get this matter taken to a court appearance, I will bring this recorded call with me. P.S. If you want, feel free to leave your information in the comment below and I'll happily send you over a copy of the call with your rep.
Disrespectful. The lady Michelle swore at me over the phone and threatened me. She also stated that I shouldn't worry about making a decision on my lawsuit because if I don't decide this every second on the call it doesn't matter and she'll pursue the lawsuit with her legal department.
Super unprofessional and a disgusting attitude of employees.
