Within one week of hiring Mr. Reeves, I got my license back and ultimately saved me from losing my job. Mr. Reeves continued to follow the most aggressive and persistent approach in challenging the charge overall. (Please note that I did, in fact, consult with other attorneys; to which I was told that I would virtually end up getting the maximum penalty given the circumstances and the were charging higher prices).
Based on the circumstantial evidence, I plead guilty to the offense. Having no prior history/run ins with the law prior to this event, Mr. Reeves explained everything to me accordingly and the route we were taking, keeping me updated and the reasoning behind the approach taken. He continued to show compassion and a sincere desire to help me as much as possible throughout the entirety of the case; Mr. Reeves and his partners are NOT looking to turn cases around quickly for increased profit, they are looking to defend their clients at all costs and means necessary while maintaining an ethical/logical sense of strategy for the most beneficial outcome.
Fast forward a few months- I messed up again (to say the least) and my DUI was now considered a Level 2 offense with mandatory minimum jail time and heavy fines. Having never been to jail, this terrified me. Mr. Reeves was ultimately able to prevent me from having to serve any jail time, keep my job and reduced my fines tremendously.
It is important to note that I moved out of state before my judgement/sentencing; Mr. Reeves was able to workout great timing of the court dates with each judge so that I was not buying flight tickets every month to come back to court.
Had I not chosen Mr. Reeves to defend me, I would be in jail, subsequently unemployed and down a dark road. Mr. Reeves is ultimately tried and true; through his knowledge, integrity, connections, compassion and results.
Thank you, Zach, for setting a standard - we all reap what we sow so I know you will rock success for years to come!
The retainer was $2500 which was one o the lowest around. The initial consultation was free, a big plus. Overall a good experience in hard and emotional times. Of course I can complaint about how much money I spend in total but it's something I could not avoid. It had to be done and this firm did it right. My lesson learned is : Don't get married.
Again, thank you to Robert J Reeves law firm for great work, especially to Cody Burgin. He walked me through the process and worked with me on the legal fees.
I would highly recommend this firm to anybody in need.
I have and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family .
Zach, Robert and Chris I would like to thank y’all again.
Thank y’all very much
Sincerely
David Childers
I not only have a friend, I have an awesome Attorney as well.
Seriously, thank you again for all of your help guys. You’re a Godsend.
I would highly recommend him.
Studies project that approximately 8% of those on the sex offender registry are falsely convicted; my husband is one of those unfortunates. Families on the registry get used to police showing up at their door randomly for residency checks, learn to accept that they will never be really welcome at church or community events and somehow manage to get through the tears their children cry because "so and so isn't allowed to be my friend anymore." The falsely convicted suffer additional horrors - they have encountered a criminal justice system that is more interested in conviction than in truth and they live in constant fear that the police will use any excuse to charge them with another crime and put them in jail again. When my husband was convicted, he refused a probation sentence which would have kept him away from his children for six years and instead spent 7.5 months in county lock-up. Upon his release he told me, "I went to jail so that I could come back to my family sooner, but I will never go to jail again; I will die first." A couple of weeks ago, two detectives came to our home looking to question my husband about a report they had received which talked about our family and my husband immediately set about putting his plans into action. I called a couple of attorneys from the Internet who seemed more interested in how much money I had than in what my problem was. A friend gave me Robert Reeves contact information. I called him on his after hours line and left a message, believing I wouldn't hear back until the next morning. Less than an hour later, Mr. Reeves returned my call. Not only did he give me sound legal advice, but he calmed my fears with a compassion and understanding I have never gotten from any attorney. A week later, DSS came to our house looking to speak with both my husband and me. I wasn't home at the time and the message I received was that the police were looking for both of us. I went into panic mode. I called Mr. Reeves again, this time hyperventilating in fear. Again he calmed me down, and told me what to do. A couple hours later, after I had gotten the correct information, Mr. Reeves called me back, just to check on me and make sure I was ok. I pray that this situation will blow over with no further complications, but I can assure you that if anything ever comes up again, I will go immediately to Reeves, Aiken, Hightower & Burns. I can not thank Mr. Reeves enough, without him I probably would have spent last week at my husband's funeral.
