My wife and I needed to have legal estate planning done. Our situation is not complex, but we needed legal advice. Chris required two meetings - an initial one to discuss ideas, options, and share info. Chris gave us his recommendations and explained some North Carolina laws we weren't familiar with. I didn't time the meeting, but it was around 30-60 minutes. After the meeting, Chris' staff emailed us drafts of documents to review. We met two weeks later to sign final copies and get questions answered. This meeting took about 30 minutes. The price was very reasonable.

UPDATE: Chris Adkins everything you say below is a lie. I have the contract anyone can message me for a copy. And your ad on Google did say free consultation when I Googled divorce lawyers in Huntersville NC free consultations. Your office admitted the ad was out there and they thought they had removed them all. As far as my call to you, check your phone records with the receptionist out front. Stop lying. What your office did was wrong. People take notice, Chris Adkins came up with an excuse for all my complaints, you didn't see him offer any refund now did you. Run from this firm.
I was told the consultation was free, then told it wasn't free, it was listed free on their website through Google, which they eventually came up with, oh that's for estate planning only. Paid a ridiculous consultation fee to discuss divorce. I don't think this firm handles many family law cases as they advertise, kinda like the "free consult". I saw Kelsey Queen, she seemed confused on the law but thought she could help me with much research. I'm sorry but you should know the laws I shouldn't have to pay for you to research them. At the end of our consult I was given a contract to look over. It was even more disturbing than my consultation. For starters any of the lawyers could be in court with me on court day apparently without me even meeting them. Then I was told by Kelsey that she charges a certain hourly fee but the contract says she may have another lawyer in the office look at my case/help her for more money than she charges per hour. I reached out to the owner Chris Adkins for clarification of their contract on 3 different occasions but he would never return my call. They wouldn't let me speak with Kelsey again i was told to email her. I wouldn't let this law firm handle my case and I don't think charging for my consult was fair. Their contract certainly isn't fair.

Very professional, courteous and competent staff. If I ever need legal representation again, then I will definitely contact them.
