I've known Bryan Tyson for a more than a decade as a fellow attorney in the Mecklenburg Bar. When I was going through my separation, I contacted Bryan because his partner Jennifer Moore had been recommended to me by another lawyer friend of mine highly experienced and skilled in divorce law. Bryan put me in connect with Jennifer, and she did an great job through tough circumstances.
I wanted to keep things as amicable as possible with my ex-wife, and Jennifer was able to balance my wishes for that while also strongly advocating for the best possible outcome for me. She listened to me and took my considerations and desires seriously, but she was also able to stand up for and fight for me when it was needed.
Divorce is by its nature hard and personal, and it's important to get an attorney you trust and respects your needs and wishes, and "has your back" in the division of assets. I highly recommend anyone going through this process to at least contact Jennifer and the Marcellino & Tyson team to see if their representation is a good fit for you.

Matt Marcellino, Bryan Tyson and their colleagues are a pleasure to work with. Not only is Marcellino & Tyson a great group of people but exceptional lawyers who work diligently to advocate on behalf of their clients. Whenever I need legal representation in Charlotte and surrounding areas I call this firm.

Lost what I was told was an easy case. The judge laughed at us. Was billed for very unnecessary work that they did - the assistant said "I can only use communication from these certain dates" but she spent hours and hours on communication from other dates. They are nice people but nice doesn't win.
Overall had a bad experience with one of the attorneys but I appreciate Brooks and Matt Marcellino for making things right once they became aware of the situation.

We have worked with Marcellino & Tyson, and specifically with partner Bryan Tyson, on employment, business, and employee benefit matters, including many that were time-sensitive and that required very delicate handling. We appreciate Bryan’s and the firm’s responsiveness, as well as their practical approach to legal issues. If you’re in need of attorneys for business, employment, or employee benefits litigation, we recommend giving them a call. Eric

For the past ten years, I have worked with Bryan Tyson both individually and through my business on employment, employee benefits, and business matters, including several litigation matters (employment contracts and worker's comp). Bryan has a very thorough knowledge of the subject matter, and he was always very responsive and sensitive to time issues. On more than one occasion, I have brought him a last-minute emergency issue (employment issues often are!), and he was always accommodating and able to meet my time frame. Bryan was also great at helping me understand the legal process, and I really appreciated his straightforward approach - he went out of his way to explain things in plain language and help me find practical solutions to complex legal issues. Both he and his firm are my “go-to” people whenever we need legal help. I highly recommend them!

Great Service!
I've had the opportunity to work with Bryan Tyson on employment contract matters on several occasions. Bryan is certainly knowledgeable in this area of the law. and has his clients' best interest at heart. However, what’s even more helpful is his practical approach to guiding clients to their desired result with the least amount of risk and complication. He helps simplify the law for a 'layman' to be able to understand the next 'best steps'. Specifically, he reviewed and advised me on a non-competition agreement as well as an employment contract as I was exiting a firm. Highly recommend him and his firm! Thanks Bryan!

My experience with the Marcellino &Tyson Law firm has been Wonderful. First impressions are everything and my 1st interaction with the firm was at the Second Saturday Divorce Workshop. I was very emotional due to some horrific experiences in my marriage and I was welcomed as if I was family, which stood true through my entire divorce process. The ENTIRE team was always professional and compassionate. Andria was an excellent lawyer. Her kind demeanor, dignity, professionalism and A-1 responsiveness, not to mention patience with me and my 1001 questions, was stellar. She was approachable and logical, which was of paramount importance as a client. I don't think I could have asked for better representation and I'm extremely happy with the outcomes. I HIGHLY recommend Marcellino & Tyson. Thanks AGAIN !!

Matt and his team were always working hard for my cases, telling me what I didn't want to hear, but listen to me and my perspective and despite the unusual circumstances and legal situation, we've yet to loose in the courtroom and I hope this will stay way until we're done in a couple of weeks/months.

I was referred to Marcellino & Tyson by another law firm on a matter regarding my former employer. I paid the consultation fee and was shown to a conference room where I was kept waiting for over 30 minutes past our scheduled time to meet. I was finally greeted by two attorneys as I was preparing to leave. I provided them an overview of my situation and expressed a desire to seek a legal remedy. The senior attorney, Bryan Tyson, asked for internal documents which would be key in determining next steps.
I subsequently provided the documents and heard nothing from him for six weeks. I sent him a follow up email re-stating my desire to move forward and two weeks after the fact...radio silence. Completely unprofessional.
A telling exchange during our meeting is indicative of the lack of depth and experience of Mr. Tyson on matters outside of the most basic employment law cases. I researched case law pertaining to my situation and he told me I was up to speed on this matter as it relates to the NC courts and actually began asking me how I thought we should proceed which was shocking to me. I don't have a law degree and he holds himself out to be an employment lawyer.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend anybody seeking professional guidance based on a thorough examination of all aspects of your situation to seek counsel elsewhere. Integrity and doing what you say you are going to do matters in business and certainly as it relates to sensitive legal issues. I wasted three months as a result of a lack of basic professionalism. In a situation where time matters, you can ill-afford to do the same.

Matthew Marcellino provided legal advice during a difficult situation. I found him to be experienced, responsive, knowledgeable, and honest. While working with Matthew, I felt as though my situation was in adept and trustworthy hands, and he did not steer me wrong. I would highly recommend Matthew to anyone seeking legal representation that is fair, honest and will keep your unique needs at the forefront.

I found Jennifer Moore to be so easy to work with during a difficult time for me. She was intelligent, efficient and very hard working. I give this firm and Jennifer in particular my highest recommendation.

During a difficult time I needed legal counsel and advice on several matters, including some that were already concluded or in place. Fortunately, Jennifer Moore plead my case(s), reduced my financial burdens, and enhanced and streamlined my order(s) as such to benefit all parties. Her dedication, procedural knowledge, court room demeanor, coupled with her diligence and moral center exceeded my expectations. A keen ability to read into an opposing attorney's strategy (even during examination/court) is another key asset Jennifer wielded, and proved our case.
Unfortunately there is not enough that I can say to properly distinguish Jennifer Moore adequately here. Simply, she is the finest attorney I have worked with in the last 25 years. She is open, concise, compassionate, ethical, and willing to examine deeply to achieve success.
