I wouldn’t recommend Yarborough to anyone. He tells you what you wanna hear when you hire him and does the exact opposite. The paralegals he has working for him don’t know anything. My boyfriend had a DUI case and Yarborough didn’t know anything about his case in court. He made him out to be a alcoholic in court when he was suppose to be defending him. He is horrible.

Anyone searching for a lawyer in SC, do your research on this one, in 2000 he was almost disbarred for stealing money, among other things, I know people that he poorly represented, don't give him 5 minutes of your time.

I hired Mr. Yarborough for my DUI case over a year ago. He worked diligently to get my case resolved for me so I did not have a record. I fought for disability for 2 and then at the recommendation of a someone I met I hired this attorney. He was the biggest mistake I ever made!! He took over my case for a year and half and disability kept calling me asking me why my attorney was making no progress on my case that we should be wrapping it up and settling it out and I would call there and they would say they that they were to quit having contact with them after a year and half of this Disability called and threaten to close my case out if I have him do something I immediately contacted him he said they were lying. Well they weren’t my case was closed out. The only thing this office offered was a apology and a referral for another attorney to reopen a new case and start over!! 4 years of fighting and waiting,flushed down the drain because he decided to be dishonest and he said he didn’t have time to do these kind of cases he just was gonna do adoption cases well why didn’t you just say so when I gave you everything every opportunity!!

Somewhere I saw a question where someone asked "is WGY a good attorney"? I can't give a star either way or the other. So I am trying for a 2.5.

In my opinion, an attorney is only as good as the success that can be provided and results in a true win for your specific case. If he's/she is hired, one would assume that due diligence, ethical, legal and moral standards will be adhered to.

If you seek out a plethora of attorneys, and none will take your case, and you know that according to the SC law--the obvious is stated; and there's that one attorney that is willing to take your case; question him/her --what makes your method different from the 25 other attorneys that have refused? Or, can this attorney twist the SC law based on your situation?

Please keep in mind; people, all people have bills to pay. Again, people have bills to pay. They will take your money and just drag you along--leaving you in the woods with 4 flat tires.

Any attorney should be honest enough to say, based on SC law, and present/past rulings..., nothing can be done with your case. Period. Don't drag the person along with false hopes.
