Mike Allen and Ryan Pagano told me they were working with me exclusively on a home that had a court ordered sale. They got the home reappraised and I waited patiently for them to receive that back. That took a few weeks. After that, I went to the house and personally inspected it and made an offer. They countered and said they would need me to be at a certain price for them to feel comfortable petitioning the courts. After reviewing the home and current appraisal again, I decided I would match their counter.

I started getting things in order to have appropriate financing upon acceptance of the offer from the courts. Hours before petitioning the courts, they called me and said "Another offer walked in our door and we are going to take it. It's much easier for us to work with them as they won't need to petition the courts at their offer".

They didn't even give me the opportunity to match it prior to just working with them. I spend 2 months waiting for them to get their appraisals and getting things in order to make the deal happen.

I talked with Ryan and discussed my dissatisfaction with the scenario and asked him to allow me to meet or beat the offer. Ryan said he will have the decisionmaker, Mike Allen, call me back. Rather than calling me back, Mike set a same day appointment with the other people making an offer. He went ahead and signed papers and gave them the contract on the home.

These people are unethical and have zero integrity. They hide behind a book of laws and have zero heart or compassion. Though business is business, that doesn't justify how they handled this situation.

Don't waste your time with attempting to get a home through RMA Estate Sales, or any affiliates associated.

This practice lacked experience in successfully closing a real estate transaction. I would choose another firm that stays abreast on issues affecting the industry and consistently employs processes to protect their client's best interests. You shouldn't have to question the integrity of your attorney.
