Met with Mr. Foyles several months ago in 2019. Was not impressed. He did not seem interested in taking my case. Did not even appear to be interested in listening to me, yet took my money for a consult fee. What a joke! Would not go back or recommend him.

During the initial consultation meeting with Mr. Foyles, his bearing, along with his perspicacity, compelled me to retain him as my attorney for a civil matter; one which had caused me many sleepless nights and doubts about the future.

Mr. Foyles, along with Ruthann, and Kimberly were always eager to answer all my questions and kept me informed throughout the entire process.

Mr. Foyles worked diligently to gather any/all evidence needed to bring the case to trial.

My day in court ended victoriously. I was expecting to feel this great sense of joy and continue my life’s journey without my name being tarnished, but oddly, I was stumped. My joy was shadowed by Mr. Foyles’ great legal mind. I was not able to celebrate the victory because I was replaying in my head how he was able to quickly strike with his legal hammer the plaintiffs and their attorneys arguments. He was prepared, informed, composed, aggressive, and passionate throughout the trial, and the days leading up that day.

I called him a “Sleeper”. I explained that he strikes hard once he gets the green light to litigate.

I recommend Mr. Foyles and his professional staff to anyone based on my experience with them. Winning the case for me was just the icing on the cake. If you really don’t care about the outcome of your divorce case, this is your guy.
He did as little as possible, his office staff can be rude and insensitive, one thing this office is good at is sending inaccurate invoices. He was very sloppy with my case so i ended up with almost nothing after i paid him. I would never recommend!

Hopefully, I won't ever need to, but if I do need a family attorney again, Jody will be my first call!

I have never seen or been a part of something so unprofessional.Took my money, wasted over a year of my life and through and my future out the door simply because he was too lazy to read my file. Still didn’t know my name in court.The worst experience imaginable ...if I could give negative stars I would! Charges were ridiculous.Turn over of employees is ridiculous ..should not be allowed to practice law. Recommend I take my special needs daughters service animal to the pound. Beyond immoral.

I think the entire staff is incredible. Mr. Foyles himself is an amazing attorney. He guided me through the most difficult time of my life during custody court and I will always be great full.

Pretty negative experience. Being sued and engaged. Communication was terrible. It would take multiple weeks to get a simple 1 page letter out to opposing attorney. Simple spelling errors in the letter required me to reach out to the paralegal and you better believe they charged 1) to respond to my note that errors needed correcting and again when they went back in and fix said errors. Didn't even bother to inform me when opposing counsel responded and said they were filing a lawsuit. When I called to express concern about unresponsiveness the admin assured me he would call me back same day. Good thing, I didn't hold my breath as that was >1 month ago and still haven't heard a peep. Luckily, we moved quickly to engage another attorney (Will Gordon) who has been a total 180.

I was having a dispute with ex-husband because he decided to quit alimony almost 2 years before our divorce contract required him to pay. My ex had a friend who was a lawyer that spoke to Mr. Foyers privately and also off the record from his partner’s legal firm. Mr. Foyer just bent over and believed the lies my ex had apparently told him. It also seemed to a be a conflict of interest because my ex-husband and I were both very good friends with the current wife of my exhusband’s lawyer. Mr. Foyers will not fight for his clients or even take records of the information you give him

If you need an attorney in Hoke County this guy should be your first call. I contacted Mr. Foyles about a frivolous civil lawsuit brought against my company. During our initial consultation he contacted the plaintiff and let them know he had been retained and if they did not dismiss the action that he would go after them for (I forget the word he used) my costs. He did all this without charging anything other than the initial consultation fee. This guy is a lawyer who is not just in it for the buck because he could have charged me a nice big fee and then done what he did for the little consultation fee. I wish there were more lawyers out there like Mr. Foyles. If I ever need a lawyer again in Hoke County he will be my first. call.

Jody Foyles is the kindest and most professional attorney I've dealt with in the past 30+ years. He is highly competent while maintaining an attitude of friendliness and ease with his client. His support staff is courteous and project a "How can we help you?" attitude. HIGHLY recommended.

Foyles is the worst attorney I've experienced.

I went to him to represent me. I could barely get him on the phone but he had no hesitation to bill me for every email I sent or phone call I made to his office.

I didn't know what I was doing but know I needed an attorney after my ex drained accounts on me, unexpectedly.

I was a stay home mom to a ex SF guy which is a narcissist. I had much evidence, voice recordings of abuse, texts , and emails.

During my seperation in NC I found 2 tracking devices that were reported to authorities but when I consulted Foyles in filing a restraining order he adviced me not to as it would be, " a negotiation method". I listened to him even though authorities were advising me to file a restraining order.

The day of court , Foyles was disorganized and it was apparent he did not look into my case thoroughly. I settled, because he wasn't prepared, and the result was 3 tracking devices later, stalking for months later and sadly the courts do not recognize domestic violence.

It costed me my children as now I am the one without them after months of fighting on my own.

I have experienced what good attorneys look like through a restraining order and custody , Foyles is NOT one of them.

I'm shocked to see the positive reviews. The only thing I can think of is if you posted something positive you either don't know what a good attorney looks like or your case wasn't as brutal. No disrespect to the ones who posted but if you are looking for an attorney that's up to more than then the basics that we could do ourselves, again, please do not lean on Foyles.

I've dealt with several attorneys after him to fight for me and I know what a good one looks like now... he is amateur.

Now a days we all deserve and should seek an attorney who we can connect with and are compassionate of our own unique situations.

It is, at the end of the day, OUR lives who we lean on our attorneys to protect in a court system that has more tolerance for the criminals and the ones who choose to do wrong.

Just because you may be an attorney doesn't mean you know or do what's just.
Just because you are a judge doesn't mean you will do what's right and just.

I've learned there are a lot of people out there that will use their profession for financial gain.

I never cared to write reviews but after seeing what I've seen through lawyers , courts , etc.

We are in control of our own lives... my experience with Foyles ... I could have done a better job alone.

Unfortunately the state of NC, you need an attorney to represent you.

Would give him and staff less stars if it were possible. Waited until the day of court to say he was "uncomfortable" taking the case to trial, talked in circles, and staff has no clue what the difference is between a sheriff's dept. and city police. They talk a good game but fail at everything. Also, he way over charges for services and charges for phone calls even after the contract has ended.

My son was represented by Attorney Foyles involving a very sensitive custody issue. From the initial consultation all the way up to the positive outcome that we had hoped for and everything in between Attorney Foyles was knowledgeable, straight to the point, and successful in obtaining my son and our family's desired end result.
