I would LOVE to recommend this law firm to anyone looking to obtain U.S. Citizenship. In 2012 we began our jouney with Kelli, Allison and team. It was a tough case since we started off with my husbands deportation process. Thankfully Kelli was able to help my husband stay. No greencard yet... Our case took till this year 2018 because since the beggining it was complicated. It was errors from us that put us behind. Things like police encounters w/the hubby, tickets also missing documents, etc. No matter what Allison and Kelli were ALWAYS on top off the case. If they didn't here from us they would call. The process started moving faster it seems now. In the end my husband and I got to Ciudad Juarez and he was granted APPROVAL. Thank God and Kelli and Allison we were able to come back HOME. We just recently recieved my husbands Green card. What an achievment. My husband had never gone home since he came to the U.S. in 2001. 17 years later he found himself back there. Becuase of these wonderful women (Kelli and Allison) he's able to come and go as he pleases. One thing is for sure, after so long of getting to meet them we're going to really miss them. This firm has changed drastically since their top notch paralegal, Allison Feliciano left. It has been a nightmare dealing with their "new personnel". For starters, I emailed the attorney directly requesting a scanned copy of my recent submission of paperwork. She NEVER responded. I had to follow-up with her a month later. Shortly after I received an email from a woman who told me that Kelli had said that I needed to pay $100 to receive a copy of my file.
Not only was this the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard, but I have been a client since 2013. My entire family has been her clients. After paying her thousands of dollars, she had the audacity to try to charge me money to SCAN my paperwork. I quickly contacted the NC State Bar, and they informed me that this is not ethical. Clearly, this firm is trying to squeeze every little dime people have. After several emails back and forth with new staff, she emailed 8 little pages that were old and nothing to do with my newly filed paperwork. I'm still waiting on my documents.

Honestly, this firm was highly sought after because of her paralegal, Allison. I knew this would happen when she left. I'm so disappointed with the new level of customer service.

Worst experience ever ! They take up your case for money even if they don’t know about it. They won’t even guide you in a proper way and yet charge you. Waste of time and investment. All they care about is money! They are not even worth 1 star!!!
All they did was asked me for few documents and rearranged them alphabetically and sent it back to me and they took 4 months to do this. They charged me 1200$ for filling one form , they dint even fill it properly and completely. They put wrong information on it even after providing all details . I had to revise the entire form.
Even after providing everything they asked for, and following up for months and following every instruction they told me to , they ended up saying I misplaced documentation they sent me, when I dint. When I called USCIS asking guidance on how to proceed further and explained them about my scenario and what this attorney did , they are like I am not even supposed to do what she told me to ! How can this attorney jus get defensive instead of agreeing she dint know how to handle my case !
I am more disappointed for my time and faith I initially had on them , also $3k Which I paid for nothing .

*Update* My husband and I decided to hire this firm to handle his 2-year home-stay waiver. On the day of our consultation we handed off our documents and I filled out all of the necessary paperwork. The only required document that hadn’t been submitted on the day of our consultation was my husband’s affidavit (which we were required to write on our own), and we were told that the application process would only take 2-3 weeks to complete once all of the documents were received. I sent the affidavit in at the end of December, and received word that it was on the attorney’s desk in January. About a month or so later, I received an email claiming that they did not have any of our personal documentation (marriage certificate, birth certificates, etc) or the questionnaire on file. When I called a few moments after receiving the email, I was told that they actually DID have our documents but did not have the questionnaire. I later received another email from the lady our case was handed over to a few days prior saying that there was simply a miscommunication pertaining to the paperwork. The paperwork had in fact never really been misplaced, and they'd only emailed a request for us to send them again just in case the documents were not in the file when the newly hired worker had a chance to begin working on my husband's case. I generally feel as if we deserved more communication from this establishment. We were never contacted by their office to update us on anything until after I pressed for answers. I was in tears when I called their office the last time, and my dispirited state was met with little regard or understanding from their office as if there was nothing their side could've handled better. My husband and I were doubtful that this firm would even handle our case without bias after what happened, but they have since submitted my husband's waiver form that was completed in a rather timely fashion after the extensive initial wait. The new member of their team that was assigned our case about three months ago, Alexis Sylvester, has at least dealt with my husband and his mother with some level of warmth and kindness, so I am grateful for her efforts to amend the situation. She has worked diligently on the case, and always responds speedily to my husband's emails.

Overall, I would only recommend this firm to families that are not dealing with time sensitive issues. We were initially told that the application would have been completed 2-3 weeks after we'd furnished them with all necessary paperwork, but our case was not started until about 2-3 months after we'd met these requirements. Communication is also a bit delayed, as you should expect an average wait time of about two business days for a response to all emails. However, it may be worth hiring this firm if your issue is not time sensitive and you wish, as I did, to support an all woman establishment.
