I was traveling through Fayetteville, NC for work and received an outstanding traffic ticket, coupled with aggressive/reckless driving and driving to endangerment. I was faced with loosing my license and was so terrified and stressed out I did not know what to do. I called around to a few different lawyers that had the best online reviews, and each one of them was going to charge me over $800 for a starting fee and the receptionist wouldn't even let me speak to the actual layer himself. Additionally, they basically told me those types of charges are near impossible to have dropped and so I was most likely going to have to pay hundreds of dollars more for various fines. A friend recommended Bruce Armstrong to me, and so I called his office and immediately noticed a different. Right off the bat, his receptionist was super friendly and understanding; She listened to my entire story and took down as much detail as possible. Then, she told me that Mr. Armstrong would call me right back, and sure enough, less than 2 hours later I received a call back from Mr. Armstrong himself. He spent time getting to know me, my background, where I came from, what happened, why it happened, and then walked me through a sort of game plan he was thinking of. He did not blow any smoke, and was completely transparent and honest the entire time. His fee was over 50% less than other lawyers in the area, yet the service he provided was 100 times greater. I am SO thankful for finding Bruce Armstrong, and would not go with anyone else in the future.
I reached Mr. Barrington’s office and explained the situation. Mr. Barrington immediately made time to assist me and mediate on my behalf with the detective. Once a warrant was issued for my arrest Mr. Barrington met me at the county jail to assist in my surrender as well as negotiate my bail with the magistrate. I was released from jail less than 10 minutes.
Once the court proceedings started Mr. Barrington argued my case to where I received half the amount of time for court probation than I normally would have. After court he promised he would file a motion to get the case terminated early vs remaining on probation. True to his word within eight weeks he filled the motion and the case was closed and dismissed early.
If your criminal record and future are important to you then I strongly encourage this law firm and particularly this lawyer. I know that if you’re reading this review it’s because you found yourself facing a scary situation legally. Put your mind at ease with this lawyer who I hope to never use again but if I were in a bind it would be without question the only number I call.
