Hired for a case which involved an area of law which is not often practiced in North Carolina. He was knowledgable and was willing to both spend time understanding my case, investigating the facts of the case and the relevant law, and was able to help with resolving my case. All throughout he was very easy to work with, was willing to listen to my needs and was also able to expertly advise me on my options, even as the case dragged on for several years through no fault of ours. And he was able to resolve my case favorably and in a way which, I believe, will make a difference.

Demonstrated professionalism and expediency in reducing an excessive speeding charge from thirty one miles an hour over (86 in 55) down to nine over. I was speeding for the interstate but did not realize I was on a highway, not an interstate. There was no exit and the pavement never changed! It is a bizarre approach to state transportation and highway systems. With that said, Mr. Hastings is willing to take cases in more obscure parts of the state so that the client can avoid travel.
