Mr. Locklear prepared my mother’s power of attorney form incorrectly. He said the power of attorney form and the health care power of attorney form were one in the same. So instead of myself on one form and my sister on the other, we are both on one form using the word “and” so we both have to be present for or sign for any actions or documentation. When I asked about correcting the form it was going to be an additional $100 for a new form and recording fee. He was very abrupt and rude during our phone conversation and I would not recommend this attorney to anyone. On a positive note his staff (Caroline) was extremely helpful and nice.

Mr. Locklear and his staff were very friendly and professional in handling my father’s estate. Everyone was so helpful and Mr. Locklear went above and beyond to assist our family with any questions that we had. I would highly recommend Mr. Locklear and our family will most definitely retain him for any further legal needs in the future.
