I've had to contact the North Carolina State Bar Association to resolve an issue about them failing to represent a family member in a court case. We showed up numerous times for court and again they would not represent my loved one AFTER they were paid in full. This was a complete waste of time and money. The North Carolina Bar Association told them they had a certain amount of time to refund us our money. They waited until the last day to contact us and tell us that they were going to charge us a consultation fee for speaking to them over the phone. What a cowardly way to con us out of our hard earned money and to leave our loved one unrepresented by a lawyer. These people are not to be trusted.
