They represented the buyers on my seller transaction. They did an excellent job. My only dissatisfaction was that they wouldn’t wire my commission check over. I am in Cornelis and had to go to their Unniversity office. Time is money.

Please Please stay away from this Law Office for your home closing. Documents contained errors that would had delayed the closing if It wasn't because I saw them before hand. Very poor communition and very unprofessional attitude on the phone. Will never conduct business with them again.

Our home closing went well.

In 2017 I went to this law firm for my mortgage wasn't impress with receptionist there wasn't nice st all Holly my lawyer was awesome.
So I just did a refinance called wanted Holly she was out so I gave another try.
Informed them second time asked for discount wasn't given. Went on day of refin receptionist was same. I am a blank woman she was short and nasty to me. Three white clients came in I watched her she smile offer them coffee and showed them were restrooms were.
I called back asked to speak to Josh Custer CEO of this company left voice mail with my name and number he never called back.
I will NEVER used them again. Would never recommend them. So I will never
Recommed them.

This was my first time selling a house and I had already moved to Louisiana before closing but everyone involved did an AMAZING job making the process smooth even from so far away.

Made it the easiest transition of selling a house and purchasing a house within the same day will use them again if ever in the future of selling or purchasing

Sent opt in Friday afternoon got the letter that they received it. No paper work for selling agent or client till the following Friday. Asked several times for
Lender information. I’m doing cash. They had wrong email after emailing me three times. Made closing in Ballentyne when I specifically went to university near home asked for HUD for three days then agent said this is a rush closing and we don’t have everything ready. The only thing they need was clear title which my company sent then. 3 weeks to not get anything together. Previous closing. They never had us scheduled in and needed us to come three hours later so they could get everything together. This is our preferred closing attorney and I’ll find a new one.

I read the negative reviews and had my guard up when I went for a closing. We had zero problems and everything went smoothly. I can see how problems could arise in this environment. This law office serves one purpose; completing mortgage loans as inexpensively as possible. The sellers are their customers and buyers are just cattle to be herded through the process as quickly as possible.

Were there for a home closing - services are quick and efficient. They have snacks in the lobby for anyone to enjoy.

They did good at closing but they only except wire transfers not certified Bank checks. They said they were trying to prevent fraud... I thought that was what certified Bank checks did?

We closed on our house on a Friday morning, but they didn't record our deed on time so we didn't get the keys to our house until the following Monday. We were homeless for a weekend.

They deserve 0/5 rating. Very unprofessional, lazy, misinformed, rude. Recently had a closing at Charlotte location. Horrible experience, they would not give me the closing disclosures until the time of closing. There were many errors in that and when I notified them, they were mad at us stating that we should have gone through preferred lender. The lender called them multiple times regarding corrections but they would not return calls or emails. When they had to do the corrections, they wanted to charge us the second time. Worst experience ever. They don't deserve to practice. I would never ever recommend this law firm to anyone for any needs

Home closing was well organized and quick.

As someone who did use them for their closing , I would definitely NOT recommend them. In fact, I would RUN as fast as you can to anyone else. Not only did they make a mistake on our closing and give almost 10K to a contractor upfront who never completed the work. When I contacted them a few months after closing to inquire about the money I was told that they were never told that to hold the money (lie) and that if they were supposed to then it was our realtors fault for not letting them know. I believed them and we continued to reach out to the contractor to try and get our work completed or our money back to have someone else complete the work. In passing about another real estate transaction,my husband spoke to our old realtor and he sent us documentation that showed that Costner should have kept the money in an escrow account. Even after sending this information they chose not to help us recoup our funds or do anything because the statue of limitations for their mistake had just expired. This law firm is unprofessional and unethical and I would seriously reconsider ever using them for your real estate transactions.

We had the closing at their Raleigh office for the house we sold. Terrible experience. They sent the closing disclosure 1 hour before closing which hardly gave us any time to review it. I asked the attorney a question about real estate tax in Wake County and he was not able to give me a satisfactory answer. They should realize that home buying/selling are important decisions people make and they need to show their clients some respect.

I was very disappointed with the way they spoke to their clients/customers and can promise you I will NEVER use this firm again.
I was representing my buyer who stated on numerous times how rude their paralegal was to her throughout the process.
Then I got to experience it for myself first hand! I was shocked and very upset when I walked out of that office!! Never again will I use that firm!!!

Giving 1 star because I had to in order to post this. Don't know how they have 3.8 stars with all these negative reviews but I can assure you they are the rudest, most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. I closed on my home on 1/6/17 at the Greensboro office and the deed has yet to be recorded. The "attorney" was wearing jeans and a sweater at my closing. I wonder if she's even an attorney at all. Her paralegal was terribly rude in her emails prior to closing. Then, when my realtor went to pick up her check two business days later she was yelled at from behind closed doors and told to wait while the person finished pumping her breast milk. Who are these people and who runs this "firm"? I use the word loosely because I'm still shaking my head trying to figure out how they stay in business.

I don't know why others gave 1 star but they basically dropped the ball and didn't get everything in order for our closing date ... and then waited until the day of to tell us they didn't have the docs they needed and wouldn't admit their culpability in their errors.

I changed to another provider because they refused to follow instructions and spoke to me like i was mud on their shoes. they they try charge me for services (at a rate above the limit in the agreement) on the current and prior house i was trying to buy.... i did not even have an agreement for services on the prior place as it was only a few days in as i backed out.
Use at your own risk and if you don't like being treated with respect and dignity.

My personal experience has been terrible. They are completely disorganized and frazzled, constantly running back and forth.

We closed on our house on August 19th in Raleigh. We have yet (as of 9/11/15) to receive a check from the closing of the house, even after multiple contacts. Not impressed at all.
