Absolutely hands down the best Lawyer in Jacksonville NC. I have known him about a decade and he has helped 100s of my Marines with various issues. Their families adore him and my Marines are lucky to have him. Davidson Myers is AWESOME.

I'm in Georgia and had some traffic issues in North Carolina, but within 48 hours Mr. Deke Owens got the case started and handled in a timely manner. Friendly staff, and GREAT SERVICE!!! Highly recommended if you have any traffic issues!!

I was represented following an auto accident by Robert Warlick. They started out well, but the settlement took much longer than necessary. Then, 9 years later, my Social Security was garnished as he never repaid Medicare for the bills incurred but held onto that money . Finally, I received a small check which was over the balance due, as John Warlick got involved. I, in turn, had to get Rep. Walter Jones involved to get my garnishments back from Social Security. It was a nightmare as my husband had suddenly passed away @ age 46 years during this time.

Absolutely apathetic and unprofessional! During a conversation with Walter, he told me he would immediately send an email with the information he would need to work out a plan. That was a Friday. The following week, he still hadn’t sent the information, so I contacted the office to follow up and ensure he had the correct email address. By the end of the week, he still hadn’t bothered. How can you be a decent attorney if you can’t even follow through with your word?! If you can’t be trusted with a simple task, like sending an email when you say you will, you are ABSOLUTELY not to be trusted with a larger task like legal representation.
And please, don’t bother responding to this review with your pathetic, perfunctory apologies and excuses.

James Walter Bateman III saved my life and my dreams a few years ago. I had just finished my enlistment in the United States Marine Corps and I was a couple months out (transitioning). I am a disabled vet. I got pulled over when I went back to North Carolina to pick up some of the items I valued that I accidently left behind after I had moved to Florida to take care of my mother who had breast cancer. I stayed for only one night and two days. I had driven around 12 hours to get there. When I got there, I decided to have a couple drinks after the long drive, eventually I was pulled over at 2 a.m. in the morning. Everything looked suspicious, and ultimately I was arrested and charged for a DUI. My dreams were shattered and the police officers claimed I "reeked of alcohol, was belligerent, and couldn't walk straight" (all comments skewed). I had plans to work for the government and have a security clearance. All of my dreams were lost. After speaking to James, the light in the darkness grew. Throughout the period of this matter, during my post-service transition, my mother was going through Kemo therapy, and having a misdeamor charge while losing a security clearance for my career and dreams, I went throughout a very dark period of my life. When the court date came and I watched everyone within the court room in front of me receive various convictions, go to jail, or claim "Guilty your honor", I was horrified inside. When it was my turn and up to bat, I was scared, however, I'm not sure where James received his education, but if I would have guessed it would have been from one of the better schools within the country. He sliced through the officers who were claiming I was entirely intoxicated, and even went past the arguments to nab at the officers comments and poke at their experience. I was a veteran who deployed, and they were two police officers, respectively speaking, doing there jobs, who had chosen different paths than what I had taken. As I sweat and held my breath, I was found not guilty and the DUI charges were dropped to a speeding ticket, which in many ways, James had even argued to be too much. Now, after finishing my transition two years later, I am living a happy life, next to the beach in Florida, with a stable career and a 401k. No misdemeanor conviction. My mother recovered and I stopped drinking completely. Without James, who knows where I would be; I do know it wouldn't be next to a beach. I do know I would be working a job I hated at a lower wage. I do know I would be regretting my life in many ways. Thank you James, and if anyone is in the position I was in, especially in that town, I would refer you to James. He knows what he is doing and will protect you as if you were his own brother or family. Thank you James for saving my life during that time period.
