Prior to consulting with him, I had spoken to other attorneys who were not very optimistic about my situation and I didn't feel as though they would put in the work for us to win. He was very honest from the start of the process about what my options were and gave me no doubt that he would do his best to help me. He was very prompt with responding to my emails. I came to north Carolina on project for my work. I was only here for 3 weeks when I got a speeding citation of doing 92 in a 70. Having no experience or knowledge with the laws in North Carolina I looked into the consequences and penalties and was terrified when learning I was facing a misdemeanor, lisense suspension, even jail time. I read many great reviews on michael Reece and reached out to him and his staff for help. I was very grateful and thankful to have worked with him and his staff. He showed up for court without me having to attend and successfully got my charge lowered to 79 in a 70 and saved my lisense. I cannot recommend Mike highly enough. I was pulled over for speeding at such a speed that it was also reckless driving, a misdemeanor in NC. I faced loss of license/suspension, a large fine and 30-60 days in jail. Panic set it. I Googled traffic lawyer Johnston County NC and Reece and Reece came up. I received a speeding ticket in this county and wanted to get it reduced so I saw this place had a good review so I gave it a try one I arrived at the office The older lady who works the front desk was rude she asked me a question that I didn’t know and smirked at two other people for validation as to why I didn’t understand her question also this place smells like mildew and there prices are $100 higher.

Horrible experience. I recommended Mr. Reese to a friend. My friend's mom gave his son an advance on the legal fees. Not only did he not thank me, he also listens to the clients mother instead of the clients needs and wants... Plead him guilty and got convicted of two charges... Rude, doesn't communicate, doesn't care. Would NOT RECOMMEND!!

If you are ever in need of an attorney to get you out of a pickle, Mr. Reece is who you need to contact! My husband and I were driving from New Jersey to Florida when my husband was pulled over for speeding in North Carolina. He was issued a ticket for excessive speeding. My stomach turned inside out when we were told he would have to appear in court in North Carolina a month later, this was mandatory!

I could not stop worrying about the cost of this. Court fees, ticket fees for excessive speed, the cost of flying back to NC for court date, and of course Points on his license which could surely costs us fortunes with our car insurance policy. Possibly worse, we may lose our insurance coverage and then the fees just keep piling up.

We called the court and were referred to attorney services and we were lucky enough to get Michael Reece. For what I consider a very, very small fee considering what we might have been stuck with, he handled everything! He settled it all out of court and we never even had to leave New Jersey. I live in SC and had a speeding ticket. Because I was going over 80 the courts wouldn't let me just pay a fine, they said I had to appear in court. I checked with a couple different lawyers.
