After running a background check on myself I discovered that a ticket I received a few years ago, (which Mr. Kellis was able to get reduced to an infraction) was still showing up as a speeding violation under Criminal History on my background report. When I called the secretary at Kellis Law she was very nice and took the time to search my record at the craven court and figure out why this was. She took the time to explain to me that North Carolina does things this way even after a violation has been reduced, and for whatever reason lists them under criminal activity. I'm disappointed with the state of NC, but appreciate that Kellis Law took the time to explain things instead of acting too rushed and busy. It's the little things that make a difference.
