I called Mr Aidan Toland from NYC one day before my court date in Salem N.C and he jumped on my case right away. I felt like he was a little stern on me when he was talking to me but he told me what papers to send him and he got the job done my 2 tickets of driving with a suspended license was dismissed and my driving 83 in a 65 mph ticket was dropped to a lower speed were it would have no effect on my insurance. My fiance Joshua Romero had left a review and rating on our behalf for Mr. Toland's services. Mr. Toland was ultimately able to resolve our issue and nevertheless did a very good job. Where Mr. Toland did not do a good job was in being respectful, and understanding when I had not received any updates on my case to my knowledge. As anyone who is an attorney's client would do if he or she had not received an update on their case, I reached out to Mr. Toland to see if there were any updates. He stated he had mailed me the update but he would text me a picture of the letter with the results from the court decision, so we ended our call and I thought everything was fine. In the time after we ended the call, my father called me in which I answered and proceeded to speak to him. While I was speaking to my father, Mr. Toland called me in which I was not able to answer his call due to the fact that I was speaking to my father (most individuals understand this). When I ended my conversation with my father, I called Mr. Toland back in which he berated me by asking if "my phone even receives text messages, how can he help me if I can't receive any messages" ( I cannot receive messages while on the phone, which I explained) and he kept repeating "I don't know what else you want me to do ma'am, you do not receive mail (which I had already explained that I still had to check), and you do not receive texts, in which I responded in a calm and respectful manner that maybe I hadn't receive his text message due to the fact that I was on the phone when he called. I asked him if he could email it to me in which he bluntly and rudely said "no, I don't know what else you want me to do", which led me to tell him he didn't have to be speaking to me in that rude tone of his and I said (again) that it was fine that I would have to wait until I got home to check my mail for the letter. I suppose he got fed up of listening to my explanation because he hung up on me! Almost immediately after hanging up on me he texted me saying "nothing else I can do". This man may be an attorney who is good at winning cases, but he is very rude from what he has shown me yesterday, 03/13/2018. I would have gladly just forgot about that experience but since yesterday Mr. Toland has tried to have me remove the previous review left by my fiance by stating that he would refund my money if removed the "nasty" review. He has called me and texted me personally, he has even had an assistant reach out to me to see if I will accept the refund and remove the review. If there's anything that potential clients of his should take away from my experience is that, yes he can do the job, but his character is one that is not respectful, kind, courteous, understanding, of good nature, and one that is not with the intentions of even offering the most basic good customer service there is to offer. My fiance yesterday gave a vague experience of Mr. Toland's services, mine today is one that is very explicit as he is trying to say Mr. Romero's (my fiance's) is not valid because he is "not a client".

I was stopped going extremely too fast, they also gave me Careless & reckless. So I looked around at lawyers, either they were way over priced or just went around in circles. From the beginning Mr.Toland was very professional and communicated the terms of my situation and options very clearly. He was very knowledgeable of the system and the personnel within. With this knowledge, he was able to give me the best outcome ever. I went in for my court date expecting the worst, but left completely satisfied. I went in with two traffic tickets pending ( One wreckless 90/60 and one with a large late fine ($400+ For 44/35) and left with one small fine (under $200), the late ticket dismissed, and no increased insurance. Let it be known I have a pretty extensive driving record already. I couldn’t have asked for a better turnout than that.
