Please read this. I would give 0 stars if possible. I hired this man for $100 to take care of a speeding ticket. I was told by the receptionist that I would have to pay court costs to the court by cash or money order. My court date comes and goes and no word from the attorney. I get a call today and am told that I need to pay another $100 if I would like them to proceed. She states that I did not send them the court costs so they did not take care of it. I was completely taken back by this. I was in no way told to send them the court cost. I was also told the receptionist I first spoke with was filling in. In my understanding I was supposed to send the money into the court after it was all said and done. I politely asked the receptionist to talk to the attorney to see if he would still take care of this due to the misunderstanding, and I would send the court cost money immediately. She told me the attorney said no, and I would have to pay him another $100. So obviously I will have to hire another attorney cause I refuse to give this man another penny. If you really think about it this is crazy! Do you really think I paid this man $100, and just said I'm not gonna worry about the rest? No I do not like throwing away money! And also what if I did send the money and it got lost in the mail. It would be the same outcome, and definitely not my fault. Does anyone think they could have called me to find out why they didn't recieve the money? Too hard to have a follow up call to resolve a misunderstanding I guess? The worst part is my wife is the head Paralegal for the New Hanover county public defenders office so I do know what little work it takes to take care of a speeding ticket. Apparently Mr. Wigmore doesn't care about taking care of his small clients. I mean I would have even paid him $50 if he would have taken half of the responsibility for the misunderstanding cause I know everything is a two way street. Well hopefully you read all this and will never waste your money or time with this man!

Ripoff!!! Decided not to represent my son, but told him he would have his case continued. He kept the money and never continued my son's case. His receptionist is just as bad. They won't return phone calls. UNETHICAL!
