Lou and his team deserve more than 5 stars. they helped me keep my daughter in my life and helped me settle my case with an outstanding result. Him and his team helped me through this horrible experience I had to endure because of my exs false statements and actions. He knows what he is doing and although I hope I dont have to go back and face the court system, I would trust him again.

I hired Phong maybe week before my court date and i am leaving review after 16 months because i did not want to leave negative review but the reason of review, I believe any or every lawyer file DVRO against restraining orders, I keep telling him every single day, he did charge me for all emails, calls, messages so i paid him almost $18000 but he never filed DVRO, i was shocked to see his email again today about balance, balance?? yes he never filed DVRO but still wants more money for ?? ofcourse DVRO!!! heyy phong atleast learn whatever necessary in any court case, does it feel shame to you or you dont know what is shame?? learn on your own time and money do not put anyone down for your education - take it as suggestion mr. phong, whenever i talk to anyone, everyone says phong has done wrong but i never cared, had one other court date , the case was not even filed , they never informed me, when I went to court and tried to call them then they told me "Oh that was already fixed" what kind of lawyer is this or this is called lawyer??

This took me a little time to put together for Lou Limon and Jimin Lyu and the team at Nguyen and Limon law firm.
I at first was hit hard by the predicament I was in with my child custody and move away. I had no idea what to do how to do it or even where begin. I seen Mr Limon and we talked about best and worst case scenario went thru the 1 hour free consult very thoroughly.  But got the answers I needed.  Mr Limon was honest! He was upfront and no bs kind of man.  I respect him for this.  I grew up always being taught if someone can be honest and upfront they are someone you can most likely trust.
I trust Lou.  Unbelievable how he stood by me and worked very hard on my case. He was honesty thru and thru,  kept me updated asked me all the questions and continued to be so supportive.  Jimin I just can't tell you how important she was in the whole process,  she listened and I can tell she cared.  Not like you think, how some attorneys can be heartless. No! Not with my attorney and team I truly believe this. And I'm sure every case is different,  mine was a bit out of the ordinary. Not your typical move away and custody case. Lou was upfront about all of that.  An uphill battle he said.  And Lou was right. 
Lou would keep fighting if I had the energy to keep going,  but it's not something I wanted to put my family thru anymore, Lou is one strong minded man, and he respected my not wanting to drag my daughtet thru this anymore. 
I'm so proud to have Lou and Jimin by my side in family court. Because that place is intimidating and I didn't feel that way with the team there with me.

Totally useless and incompetent.

I worked with Phong Nguyen. He took my case right before the Christmas and worked with me through it for 3 weeks almost every day. I think the only day when he was really off was the Christmas day. Without Phong this case would have taken forever.

Phong is aggressive, smart, detail oriented. Really great partner to go to court. He gives you good advice in real time, knows other lawyers and has a history of winning against some of them.

I know there're some reviews about representation and billing. I checked first two bills in detail and I can tell you that they UNDER BILLED me, not over billed me. Detailed bills are provided on request. I was impressed.

Highly recommended if you need a great attorney and a partner who will give you good advice.

Beware of this firm. Phong Nguyen is the owner and in my opinion does not know what he is doing. He hires young and inexperienced associates who he provides with very little mentoring. As a result there is high turnover at his firm. Even if Phong is willing to participate in your case he brings very little value. He'll take your money without hesitation but provide very little of his time as the purported "expert". He will pawn you off to one of his new associates who eventually end up leaving for greener pastures or legit firms. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this firm. Phong is all show with no talent or family law expertise to back it up.

I’m sorry to see the reviews have been terrible since we decided to look for a family law attorney. The reviews were around 4.9 at the time... I’m also saddened to have to say that I have nothing good to add about this firm.

Our family suffered huge financial losses directly related to this firm’s inaction, literally.

After supplying the firm with an important set of requested information to support presentments in court hearings (normal thing to do) the lead attorney in the firm “fired” me? for, as he described, “being counterproductive” ?? All money paid up front, no representation supplied. Still sending bills to me for “email correspondence”

Because all of our family savings and borrowings went to this firm for legal protection and representation, we have no equity to pursue legal recourse.

The lead attorney convinced me to represent myself in our hearing, but he failed to remind me of my 5th amendment rights which were highly necessary under the circumstances I was under, and he realized his mistake afterwards and advised me of the 5th AFTER my hearing!!!

After coming to, from emotional, psychological, and physical stress from the entire legal process, arbitration with this firm is past it’s statute of limitation.

he never fights for your feelings/needs in divorce case. He always agrees to the opposition and he asks you to adjust. He charges 350$ per hour and he only deserves 50$ per hour. Never ever hire this firm for your divorce case. You regret if you hire him.

It is very difficult to get sole custody in California. Phong Nguyen made it! Phong got me both sole legal and sole physical custody through a trial. What impressed me most was his EQ, that he was able to see through the psychology of the opponent, and line up evidence to convince Court that sole custody would be best for the child in my case.
