The Veen firm is the most honest, trustworthy law office I have ever dealt with. The Veen firm changed my life and the lives of my family in the most positive way possible. When I was at my worst in life. They came and lifted me up. They protected me and represented me from start to finish. They fought hard and made sure I was fully informed and updated every step of the way. I had the pleasure of having Mr. Veen personally represent me along with Kevin Lancaster and Kimberly Wong. Kevin and Kimberly made the drive from San Francisco to my home in Milpitas, Ca to speak with me in person. The feelings I had from the first encounter to the last was warm genuine and everlasting. I never felt like a client or a paycheck. I was treated like family from day one. We won our case and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

From my initial meeting, the energy was sincere and positive, I was confident and believed the firm would do their utmost to ensure a victorious outcome. I trusted them to make a bad situation better. The team always professional, kept me informed with status updates and developments regarding my entire case. They made themselves available to answer my questions with honesty and patience. I trusted their assurances The team lead by attorney, Anthony Label worked tirelessly and thoroughly anticipating anything the defense might present. When the trial did begin, my legal experts were ready; they had all bases covered. I was amazed by the level of detail, precise research and expertise involved in preparation for trial; we were ready for trial. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for Anthony and his team and the Veen Firm. I feel like the entire firm collaborated bringing strategies that garnered the case’s successful victory. Our case won! The Veen Firm is dedicated to professional excellence, integrity and committed to trust and honesty between client and attorney during a challenging event.

Bill Veen and I have worked together for almost 20 years. I have known and/or worked directly with almost every trial lawyer Bill has employed and mentored.
Many of these outstanding trial lawyers built strong foundations at The Veen Firm and moved on to open their own successful law firms.
This is Bill's legacy, mentoring trial lawyers for over 40 years to represent every day injured people in need of help.
I use the term "trial lawyer" because many personal injury attorneys do quite well at settling cases. But, if unable to negotiate a settlement, they are forced to seek out trial lawyers with real trial experience, that take on difficult cases, with difficult clients and impossible odds.
Other attorneys call The Veen Firm because they get results. Period!
Incompetence, disingenuous, and superficial are traits reflecting the Veen firm.
There's a saying "all lawyers go to hell" and I never understood what that meant until my experience with the Veen firm. I was involved in a personal injury incident and my case was referred to the Veen firm from another lawyer in Sacramento.
I had signed a contingency-based contract with Elinor, the primary lawyer who would be representing me. Throughout the 3 years of representation, she was very much absent and my communications/interactions were mostly with her minions, Alexandra, Jennifer, and Alice. You would think they would inform Elinor or Elinor requesting to be updated but clearly me of that had occurred as I'll go more into detail below.
Throughout my interactions with them, I would be doing most of the work providing them all the documentations from my health providers and more. It felt like I would have to initiate the engagements to get updates which was very frustrating. You don't know what sleazy lawyers do and why their costs are so high because you have no viability and have to trust they're doing their job with utmost competence.
The legal process is intense, exhausting, and broken. The Veen firm hardly prepared me, my family and friends, and witnesses of what to expect. Their was lack of communication from the Veen firm to them and the inconveniences they endured by the Veen firm reflects how terrible the firm operates.
The Veen firm legal team led by Elinor were outperformed and outmaneuvered by their defense counterparts in every way. What's most embarrassed they were outclassed by a man who looks like a slimy car salesman. It felt like the defense team put more effort to representing the insurance company by researching my medical providers, social media, and etc. than mine which was disheartening because I should have followed my heart and fired Elinor and the Veen firm prior to trial.
Their strategy was a failure and they would not take my advice in further exposing the client's destruction of evidence and lack of witnesses. If you hire attorneys to represent you, they should be open to listening to your suggestion. Clearly, they were fixed on their own way which had a disastrous result.
What was the nail in the coffin was finding out not one but TWO of my health providers whom the Veen firm used as witness had a felony and misdeamonor records the defense had brought up. HOW do you not do your research?! I had to find out in trial which left me completely demoralized. What was the Veen firm doing all this time?
Although we had a winning verdict, this whole ordeal was not worth it. The Veen firm hardly gave me any expert advice or guidance. Post-trial, they showed their true colors. I was clearly upset of their performance and more importantly, the service they provided. I had involved family friends who are sound lawyers and they asked the Veen firm tough questions which they could not answer. This is when the Veen firm showed their true colors. They should have done their work which was stipulated in the contract. They were more focused on expensing Starbucks coffee than doing actual research and work.
Because of the outcome of the case, I was filing for application of f arbitration on disputing their ridiculously high costs and fees. Fortunately, they had adjusted the costs and fees which indicates their incompetence and failure to provide the service that was disclosed on the contract we had signed.
I recommend those who are ever looking for representation (my heart goes out to you) to hold these opportunistic and superficial lawyers's feet to the fire. Be sure you stay on top of them. Do NOT put your unconditional trust in them thinking they will look out for your best interest. They only look at their bottom line and see you as $$$.
