Words matter. Words matter double when paying for every single one. After interviewing ten lawyers, I was particularly impressed by Barry Schneider and his son, Carrie Schneider. Unlike the other attorneys I had spoken with, Barry and Carrie stuck to the point with great empathy and even greater efficiency; every minute I spent with them on the phone (mostly) or in person (rarely) was time and money well spent. My appreciation grew as we delved deeper into my complicated divorce case. They came up with solutions for issues other attorneys had told me not to touch. They were also honest and upfront about issues they believed would bare no weight in court. During the divorce we were bombarded with one settlement proposal after the next from my ex, most of them almost identical to the previous one. Barry and Carrie could easily have taken advantage of this situation, racking up my bill by tens of thousands of dollars, they did not. They responded only to the appropriate proposal/email/what have you. They both won my case and saved me money.
