DO NOT engage services with Legal Tech. I have never written an online review but the actions of this firm are too incompetent to not warn others. I could go on and on with examples. Ruth was rude, did not communicate, did not file the proper paperwork, was incapable in mailing simple letters, and took advantage of my elderly mother. I will be filing a formal complaint.

Terrible customer service! Told “I’m not a priority” and hung up on. I paid to have my paperwork finalized after I had done all of the other court documents/leg work for the past year by myself. It should of been quick and simple and here it is over 5 months later and it’s still not taken care of! I’m told “I’ll call you back” and then weeks and months go by with no call. I got fed up with the lies and disrespect from Ruth and called the courts clerk myself only to be told that over a month ago my paperwork was sent back to legal tech with issues that need to fixed...and the court still hasn’t received my papers corrected&re submitted. Called legal tech to tell them all of this, and of course they denied it and promised to call me back “next week on Monday”....and again no call! Save yourself money, hassle and time by going to another paralegal!

Save your money and frustration! These people have not only lied to me but if you request any information they will never return your phone calls overcharge you and I should've listened to the reviews on here! They are rude to all their customers !!! If you're a first-time customer they seem very nice but once you hire them and give them your money watch out! I was told the most time it would take to file my paperwork would be up to three months max now it's going on seven months they will not pick up their phone or return my phone calls when I do get a hold of them and ask them for any information or proof that they've done anything. Please beware! The final straw was when I had a friend at the courthouse just call me back and tell me that all the stuff that they said they have done was a total lie! They have not filed any of the paperwork I needed other than the first part and I have proof now that all they said was a lie!! They keep stating that the courthouse is backed up and even though that may be true after speaking with the courthouse them self they stated that at most it would be a month and they would still have the documentation to prove that the paperwork was still there. Good luck calling them on business hours because if you are a customer already and they don't like you for whatever reason for calling them out on their negligence they will screen all calls and not pick up. I could go on and on about so many different problems I've had with this company but I don't want to waste anymore my time. Please save your money and go elsewhere and read reviews about who you go through because if I read the reviews I would not have gone through them and saved a half of the year of time through this unethical business !!

This company charged me $325.00 to file a domestic violence restraning order. I found out that these orders are FREE! I filled out all the forms and typed out the narrative portion myself. They retyped my forms and they were wrong with several mispelling and grammatical errors. They put the wrong address for me and wrong name for the person I was trying to be protected from. They did not go down and pick up the order. I had to do that but it was rejected by the court for errors. I had to wait over the weekend without the protective order because of their unprofessionalism. Then, I had to drive back downtown and resubmit it and pick it up myself.

My experience with Ruth at Legal Tech has been nothing short of excellence. Ruth is knowledgeable and professional about her work. I would definately recommend her for all your paralegal needs.
