I used her as my lawyer after my first husband decided he wanted a divorce. It was a very upsetting time for me and Ms. Yates made it even more difficult. I made a terrible choice in hiring her as my attorney. She told me in the beginning that I would receive alimony because my first husband and I had been married for 13 years. After paying her thousands of dollars over the course of over a year she finally tells me in a very cold and aggravated way that I couldn’t get alimony. I really think she kept telling me I was going to get alimony as a way to keep me paying her. It took me a few years to pay her off. I hope I don’t ever need a divorce lawyer again because dealing with her was a horrible experience. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

She is a terrible attorney and is dishonest. She will lie to your face in the very beginning by telling you what she thinks you want to hear to get you to pay her $2,500 and tells you that it shouldn't cost more than that and then a few months later she is sending you a bill for like $5,000 with nothing being accomplished. Then when you question her about what she told you she tells you that she is done with you. Then when you hire an actual attorney that will really represent you that is when you will find out how bad she sabotaged you. Thankfully the attorney I hired after her was able to represent me the right way and got the judge to give me something in my divorce that I could live with. Grace Yates is a complete JOKE. I don't know how she developed the reputation she has because she hasnt earned it that is for sure.

He did for me in 1 month, more than my previous attorney of 5 years could do. He handled my Child Custody case which later turned to an Adoption case for a very reasonable price.
