My wife was served a summons for a civil suit, (the mayor where we live is trying to overturn my wife's appointment as treasurer) The person the law office hired refused to identify herself as a server, shoved the door open to my house and threw the summons in my wifes face striking her.
We could care less about the summons, but hitting her in the face with them is completely unprofessional and assaultive. Called the law office, they didn't care at all. Will be handling this through the sheriffs office now.
