This attorney is a fraud, he misrepresents and does not provide the representation required for the money he charges. Stay away at all cost, even if it means more out of pocket. Charged my family 6 grand without any results other than a prison sentence that was totally outrageous. Sikeston citizens, this man is not your friend, and that goes for all of southeast Missouri. He is a total scam artist and takes advantage of people he "represents."

Do not use this lawyer. He mishandled my entire case from the moment I paid his initial bill. I told him what we wanted to fight for and he said ok. A year after filing with him he finally sent me a letter saying the court date was set. The reasoning why it took a year is because my case got lost in the paperwork at his office even though I called asking about it every few months. Once in the court room, he took the opposing lawyer outside the courtroom for a talk. When he came back in he suddenly didn't have the correct paperwork, didn't even have on any of his papers what I said I wanted to fight for, and asked almost no questions while the opposing lawyer insulted and attacked me. Of the few questions he did ask was things like, "I thought you said earlier..." when talking to me, his own client! In the end I paid him thousands of dollars and lost my case. Somehow he managed to get his own client to have to pay child support in an equal custody case to someone that makes $40,000 more a year. How is this possible? Hire Jim and find out if you want to lose bad.
