Thanks Adam!
After a few days in trauma, and a reconstructing operation they transferred my wife to a hospital room. She wasn't out of the woods yet, there would be another surgery and multiple in home care visits along with the regular scheduled Dr. appointments. It would be six months before she was able to walk (assisted) a few steps at a time.
Just because our lives were turned upside down, that didn't mean the world stopped turning. Immediately after the crash (within a week), I was answering insurance questions and beginning to realize we were about to get a lot of bills from a lot of different providers. All I knew is, we had insurance and that was about it, I'd never given any thought about the details of our policy's.
One night at the hospital I was sitting in my daughters room and a late night commercial came on, you know the one's, "If you were in an accident call ______ _______." So, I did some research to see if we even needed a lawyer, as it turned out we did. The next morning I searched for lawyers in our area and came a across Adam Futrell Law. Not knowing anything about him, I called and scheduled a consult.
It's been a couple of years now, but looking back, that was the best call I made during that trying time. He took the burden of dealing with the insurance companies, Doctor's, In home providers, medical equipment providers, etc...
Service after the sale. A year after our case was settled we received a bill from one of the hospital's for services provided the previous year. We sent Mr. Futrell a copy of the bill asking him if it was something we in fact owed. He immediately responded, "No" and took care of that issue.
I'm not sure if Service after the sale is a term used in a Law Office, but that is what it felt like.
We hope to never have to use another lawyer for such traumatic event, but if we do, I guarantee The Law Office of Adam Futrell is who we'll call.
