Mr. McLaughlin is, hands down, all aces in his profession. He is a great attorney. Very professional, honest and to the point, and is in it to help you. Could not be happier with his services. There was no getting around anything but a guilty plea, but he got my sentence cut in half, and to be served on home incarceration. I was not the easiest client, but Mr. McLaughlin never wavered, and was there for me all the way. I highly recommend his services.

Ignores phone calls and text messages I paid him for services and he did absolutely nothing for me. He didn't even meet me worst lawyer I've ever met. Do not use him he is a con artist in guise as a lawyer.

Artie was an amazing attorney. He took over my case for me when I was at court and unable to get ahold of my first attorney who had failed to show up to a second straight court date unannounced. He met with my girlfriend and I later that week and explained all of my options. I feel him being a former prosecutor really helps him get the best results for those he represents. Very surprised to see he isn’t at a five star average on here. I have sent pictures of his business cards to multiple friends and would recommend him to any and everyone. I would give him 0 stars if possible. He is a parasite that will take your money and do as little as possible on your case all while asking for more money. I hired him to represent me and he almost never returned my calls or text messages. When he did he was extremely rude and condescending to me and never gave a straight answer. Do yourself a favor and find any other lawyer besides this one, you deserve to be treated with respect and communicated in a timely matter. This loser is a joke.

MY HAND TO GOD, this joker is the reason lawyers get bad rap. I saw McLaughlin after a referral from another firm. I met in his Shepherdsville office the end of May. After our discussion and review of material and photos I provided, this clown accepted my case and said for $600 he would provide me written detail of findings and then recommend my options. This never happened. I initiated a phone call in September for a status and we spent ten minutes on the phone with him stating what I requested in our meeting really was not going to be helpful and my case was not high profile. I explained I should be decider of information and he should not have accepted and took my $600. I certified a letter to McLaughlin demanding to know where my $600 went in detail and a refund.

I have received NOTHING. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and raising my 11 yr old grandson. $600 is a lot of money to be basically stolen from me. Don't waste any time or money here. I am going to file grievance with the KY Bar Association, for all the good it may do. I would take and easily pass a polygraph. This is true.

I hired McLaughlin for a complicated DUI case where i was arrested for DUI while at my home, Artie did an awesome job for me with the evidence that was on the table and taking the up most professionalism in making sure i got a fair shake, he is very knowledgeable about DUI situations and it showed during my case. I heard a radio ad on 93.9 The Ville for their services. The ad mentioned a specific type of case they handled. I had been searching for an attorney TO HIRE which specialized in that type of service. I called the number and spoke with the receptionist. I was rushed to "hold on" and forced to listen to some obnoxious loud music. Then the receptionist came back on, began asking me some questions and wasn't a high quality professional. I did express to the receptionist how I felt and what I thought about the service so far. I informed her they already had one strike against them because of the poor communication. I will give the receptionist credit she did apology and become more professional at that point. I did leave my name and number. However, NO ONE EVER RETURNED THE CALL. I wasn't rude and screaming and cussing. I am a professional and I expect to be treated likewise, especially the people I HIRE to work for me. I would not recommend this firm. PEOPLE REMEMBER, you are hiring someone to work for you, you set the guidelines and expectations. This firm has already not showed up to one job interview. Can you count on them to communicate with you about your case?
