I wish I could give him zero stars. I went into the office with cash in hand ready to hire him as my lawyer. He cuts my time in his office short and tells me the rest of the consultation fee will just be used to represent me in court. (This isn’t a hard case. Simple custody) well anyway I talked to him one week and he told me to make a list out of everything I know and to be in court on Tuesday. He never talked to me and left me high and dry. I callled his office and he told me to be in court the following Tuesday. He NEVER showed. I called his office and his secretary explained to me that he spent the “rest” of my time that I paid him for talking to the other lawyers on the case. I tried to call and explain to him that that’s not what I paid him for but they won’t return my calls. DO NOT HIRE HIM FOR ANYTHING! I wish I would’ve listened to the people that told me not to in the first place.

Very helpful with my custody case. Explained everything in full detail to were I could understand it. And his receptionist was wonderful as well. She didn't mind me calling and stopping by as often as I did and she answered any questions I had when he wasn't in the office.

Judgement impaired by obvious alcoholism, comes into court room reeking of it. Kept pressuring me to take the prosecutors "deal" by pleading guilty altho I did not commit the crime I am accused of. Then the day before court his secretary calls me and started getting angry because I would not take the deal and kept talking nothing but doom and gloom, that I had no chance and that my witness is a liar, then angrily demanded I pay 2000 immediately to continue. Not being a career criminal I inquired why price was so high, she got really pissed and said Mr Cubert is going to quit which is exactly what he did, he came into court, brushed my needs aside leaving me high a dry and withdrew from my case. The whole experience was unpleasent, unprofessional and a waste of time and money. He knew from the beginning I wanted to fight these charges and just kept laying over court dates when I would not take the deal. Oh and before he quit on me after meeting the witness in court said I had a winnable case. Secretary says taking the deal is my best option, then the next day he says my case is winnable, Crazy. But they usually are winnable when your innocent. You may look elsewhere for reprentation. Looking into filling a complaint with the bar.
