Myself and my wife were raising our granddaughter through the first few years of her life. We did share her with her other grandparents but it was due to us that she went to doctors appointments and received her required shots and so forth. For the longest time nether her other grandparents or her own mother had a clue as to who her doctor was! Her mother who had joined the Navy always referred to her daughter (in correspondence) as "the baby". Eventually her mother graduates Naval basic training and spends a good amount of time getting reacquainted with an old boyfriend or boyfriends. At this time months had passed without contact with our granddaughters mother, however her mother told us she is OK. Then one day we go to the other grandparents home to collect our granddaughter after a visit. But instead of picking her up we find out our granddaughter is no longer in Kentucky. Eventually we learn our granddaughters mother finally came back to Bowling Green KY with an old boyfriend (our granddaughters father was not pleased). It turns out our daughter in laws stepfather knew the old boyfriend to be a thief and would not allow him to stay in there home. This angered our daughter in law who then took our granddaughter (her daughter) to Virginia. We explained all of this and more to Steven O'Thornton Atty at Law, who has advised and represented us in court (several times due to the dirty tricks our daughter in law has tired to pull). Our granddaughter is twelve now. We have her pictures on our front room walls. My wife gets to talk with her two times a week and we have her home with us two weeks out of the year. Without Steve we would NOT know her voice, have her pictures on the wall, be with her two weeks out of the year or even that she is into unicorns now. So, if your looking for a lawyer who will hear you out then help you out. . . Someone who will take the job advise you on it and dedicate himself to it, then you need Steve. Taking the time to type this out is simply the best way I can think of to say thank you to him for all he has done to keep us in touch with our granddaughter, though for all I know he may never read it. But if he does read it. . . Thank you so much Steve for getting our granddaughter back to us. If not for you I would not know what she looks like today! Sincerely, WSG

Mr. Thornton has been with me through thick and thin. If you are looking for an attorney that is a fighter and a friend, you have found one. Mr. Thornton is unlike many other law firm. He is willing to listen no matter how big or small the problem. He understands what might not be an issue in the courts, is still important to his clients. When you hire Mr. Thornton he is hands on with your case and your are not moved around from person to person. He has been the BEST attorney I have had the pleasure to deal and always answers his phone. Great Experience/ Great Lawyer.
