Going through a bankruptcy is very difficult for so many reasons--including the job loss and health crisis that brought us to this point--but Mr. Schwartz and his assistant, Rose, made it bearable. We first went just to consider if it was the right choice for us, and he clearly pointed out all of the reasons why it was in our best interest and to protect our future. His calm demeanor and expertise helped us make our decision. We both shed a bit of a tear after court (which went super smoothly), but then it was as if a ton of bricks was off our backs. I just used Mr. Schwartz to file for bankruptcy over the last month or so, and they’ve been fantastic.

At first, I was trying to do some “comparison shopping” and called a second bankruptcy attorney in the area. This attorney told me that he no longer did bankruptcy, but would recommend Mr. Schwartz. I thought it was a funny coincidence since that was the person I was trying to comparison shop against. He told me that the price is “towards the higher end of the spectrum, but you get what you pay for in a bankruptcy attorney. You might be able to save a couple hundred bucks, but you won’t get the same service.” I figured at that point, it was the right choice to go with Mr. Schwartz.

Ms. Rose (the paralegal assigned to my case) and Mr. Schwartz were quick, responsive, and helpful. Anytime I had a concern or need, Rose would respond very quickly and with information/details so as to be as thorough as possible. Reminders of appointments and what I needed to do next were always given.

Really, I think it was worth every penny to have the kind of service and completeness that Mr. Schwartz and his staff offered. I am 100% satisfied and grateful for having a good team on my side to complete this next step.

Rick Schwartz is pretty rude if you aren't 100% versed in Bankruptcy law. Will speak to you as if you're inferior to him if you have a question or state something he disagrees with BUT I guess thats what you get with a bankruptcy laywer? Yes I am probably the only one with this opinon but still needs to be stated because being nice to 100s of people and rude to just one isn't honorable. I am thinking some of these reviews are from friends of his and/or they didn't deal with him directly.
